What do I love most about my job? I love teaching people how to become confident handlers and how to read their dogs AS DOGS. Dogs are their best selves when treated as the amazing animals they are. They aren't humans, they don't think like humans, they don't want to be humans. This doesn't mean they can't go out to fun places or lay on the sofa with you, it just means that their is mutual respect between you and the dog and I want to develop your understanding of how to give your dog the best life that you both deserve to live with each other.
I was inspired to start my own business by my dog, Max. He was my childhood dog, a crazy Collie X Spaniel and he was my absolute best mate. He was reactive with other dogs, and after watching him for many years I decided that enough was enough and no animal deserved to live in such a stressful mindset every time they stepped out of the front door. I worked in Veterinary centre and so many dogs were being euthanised for 'problem' behaviours when really it was never the dog, but a lack of understanding from their owners, so here I am trying to spread my knowledge and help increase that understanding!
I believe that I offer a very personable experience and give you more than just obedience with your dog. If you choose me, I'll teach you what I know, how to build a relationship with your dog and form a level of communication that you've never had with any animal before. Dogs are physical communicators, and we are physically communicating with them throughout each day without even realising! Let me teach you how!
