I am a dog trainer specialising in a rewards-based (positive reinforcement) approach encouraging both you and your dog to understand that learning together can be a fun and also an enjoyable experience. Learn how to communicate effectively with your dog and give them the best start to grow into a happy and confident companion; I am happy to discuss your training goals and how I might help you to achieve them.
Dog training is not about control or obedience, its about effective communication. I just love being a part of developing a strong bond between an owner and their dog and watching their relationship grow into something special for both.
I wanted to become a dog trainer for several years and I am now ready to live the dream and to run my own independent business. I strongly believe that effective dog training begins with an understanding of how dogs think, feel and learn and needs consistency in communication and positive reinforcement to engage and encourage both owner and dog to achieve great progress in their lives together.
The five week training programme will be supported with guidance on how to apply what is covered each week. This will enable owners to practice with their pup at home and build the confidence to continue with their pup's development.
I do not currently offer online or remote training services as I find it more productive to work with owners and their dogs in person.
I have minimised the risk of transmission with regular Covid-19 home testing and with the use of antibacterial gel when working with clients and their dogs.
