I contacted Nikki because I was searching for someone who offered bioresonance balancing for my dog Jackson. The treatment in itself is incredible and Nikki spends ages helping you understand the results. She is both personal and professional. What I got in addition to the treatment was finding a lovely lady who carers passionately about dogs and is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of caring for them. Thank you Nikki.

Having recently brought our 9 year old dog over from India, she was struggling to settle down in her new surroundings. Regular walks were a bit of a struggle with extensive leash pulling and her aggression/reactivity towards other dogs and animals. That's when we got in touch with Manny. Manny was very professional from day 1 and seemed very knowledgable. During his first consultation visit, he spent a lot of time trying to understand our concerns and explaining in detail his training methods. Even though we were quite skeptical about using an electric collar, Manny quickly allayed our fears and showed us that it wasn’t anywhere near as negative as what we thought it might be. He devised a training plan suited to her needs and we quickly got into a weekly training routine. Within a couple of weeks, we started seeing considerable changes in her behaviour. And over time, with constant advice and guidance from Manny, we soon started seeing positive results. Manny was very flexible and always adjusted training times that suited us best. We would highly recommend Mandy and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

We took our dachshund to Shelley’s for a 6 week obedience course. She is clear about what she expects both dogs and owners to achieve. The classes were fun and friendly and although we live far away, we will be back for the next stages if possible. The course was worth every penny and we are delighted with the results.
Hello — and thank you for being here. My name is Maria, founder of DOGuidance — a structured canine behaviour and human leadership system designed to create real, lasting change. I specialise in working with dogs and owners who are facing challenges such as reactivity, anxiety, disobedience, or behavioural patterns that feel overwhelming or difficult to resolve. More importantly, I work with people who are ready to approach this properly — not through quick fixes, but through a clear and guided process. With over 16 years of hands-on experience and a multidisciplinary background in canine psychology, behavioural science, and human communication, my work goes beyond traditional dog training. Every case is approached as a system — where your dog’s emotional state, environment, and your leadership all play a role. At DOGuidance, we don’t guess — we assess. That’s why every journey begins with a structured evaluation. This allows us to: * Understand your dog’s behavioural patterns and emotional responses * Identify what is driving the current challenges * Design a tailored, step-by-step programme aligned with your goals From there, we guide you through a clear process that builds: * Calm and focus * Trust and communication * Consistent, reliable behaviour Support may include a combination of 1:1 structured sessions, hybrid guidance, and practical tools designed to help you implement the work effectively between sessions. This approach is designed for owners who are ready to invest time, consistency, and commitment into creating meaningful change — and who want a professional to guide them through that process with clarity and structure. If this resonates with you, the next step is simple. Reach out, and I’ll guide you through what working together would look like for your specific situation. You can also learn more about the approach here: www.doguidance.com (http://www.doguidance.com) I look forward to supporting you and your dog. Maria — DOGuidance
What I value most is witnessing the shift — when both the dog and the owner start to understand each other clearly.
It’s not just about behaviour improving, but about the relationship becoming calmer, more predictable, and more enjoyable. That moment where things finally make sense for both sides is what makes this work meaningful.
DOGuidance was created from a combination of lived experience and a clear gap I kept seeing in the industry.
I grew up around dogs — breeding, training, observing — and later expanded into behavioural psychology and human communication. What became obvious over time is that most challenges aren’t caused by the dog alone, but by a lack of clarity in the relationship.
I started DOGuidance to offer a more structured, emotionally intelligent approach — one that looks at the full picture and creates lasting change, not just temporary improvement.
Because I don’t approach training as a series of techniques — I approach it as a structured process.
Every dog is assessed individually, and every programme is designed based on what is actually driving the behaviour, not just what is visible on the surface.
This allows us to create results that are not only effective, but sustainable.
Yes — depending on the situation, support can be provided through structured online or hybrid programmes.
These combine guided learning with practical implementation, ensuring that progress continues consistently between sessions.
The most suitable format is always recommended following an initial evaluation.
I continue to follow good hygiene practices and adapt to each client’s preferences where needed.
Flexible options such as outdoor sessions or hybrid support are available to ensure both safety and comfort.
