‘21 Certificate of Excellence

I am a fully qualified/certified dog behaviourist and trainer. I studied at The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and volunteered at the Dogs Trust in Salisbury for my field training, I also studied at the School of excellence. My services include everything from toilet training to resolving aggression, I only ever use reward based positive training techniques. I work with all breeds and all ages from puppies to seniors. My work is completely based on building trust and respect from your dog/s. I work at your dog's pace and never push them to do more than they are capable of in one session, your dog's wellbeing is always and foremost my top priority, I always make sure that they are happy and settled with the training that I am providing. I have been working with dogs for over 15 years both as a behaviourist and trainer, I also have a degree in animal psychology. I keep my prices low so that anyone can afford my services which enables the family dog to stay in the family home rather then end up in a shelter/rescue as a problem dog. On average it takes 6 sessions to get the results you require from your dog although this does depend on the dog. I also volunteer my services with the Staffie and Stray Rescue charity.

What do you love most about your job?

Working with dogs of course! I have 2 female staffies at home, and they are my world, almost everything I do revolves around dogs, they give the most unconditional love. I love hearing from my clients about what a change I have made to their's and their dog's lives. It's an amazing feeling!

What inspired you to start your own business?

One of my own dogs had a behaviourial issue, and my vet's behaviourist was way to expensive, I decided to train in dog behaviour to help others like me at a price that was realistically affordable. There was no way I could pay what the vet was asking so I put myself through years of study and training to help others like me.

Why should our clients choose you?

I do what I do because I want to help the dog stay in their family and not end up in a shelter as a 'problem' dog. This is why I keep my prices low so anybody can afford my sevices. I do it out of my love and passion for dogs. I only use reward based training and trust building techniques to train your dog.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I strictly maintain at least the 2 metre distance set by the government, I always wear a mask and ask my clients to wear one too. I only ever work with the owner/s to maintain covid-19 safety, no other person is allowed to be part of the training sessions.
