Had a survey from a non PCA registered company for our house we were selling. The previous quote suggested we needed 2k of work and was almost falling down with damp. I phoned and spoke to Glen i think his name was. Told him if he was going to come round with a damp meter and con me I would kick his surveyor out the door. The surveyor came round spent an hour checking inside and out thoroughly, compared with the other company who spent 5 mins in my property. They found only 1 wall needed potential works (the only wall the previous company didn't even check in the cupboard under the stairs due to the other walls already having a damp course). The report provided was 3 times longer and £1400 less even including plastering which the other company wanted extra for. Top company saved me a lot of money and gave clear unbiased professional advice not out to make money at any costs. Thank again much appreciated.
