Yorkshire Dales wedding hair and makeup

Enormous thanks to Jill & Jayne. A Brides step-mum I don’t usually wear make-up and have boring straight hair, I was so stressed about how I would look – until I found Yorkshire Dales Weddings. Jill and Jayne immediately put me at ease, asking what I liked/didn't like, sending photo’s of possible hair styles, matt or gloss make-up, etc. On

I cannot recommend Jayne and Jill highly enough. They are so calming and myself and my mum had the most relaxed and fun morning getting ready. Our hair lasted all day, 12+ hours, right up until the night ended. My mum doesn't wear makeup so was unsure about wearing any but she was extremely happy with her makeup on the day. I had the absolute pleasure of having Jill & Jayne as my hair stylists for my wedding, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! They were both so professional, warm, and calming on such an important day. From the trial to the big day, they listened carefully to what I envisioned and brought it to life even better than I imagined.

My hair (and my bridal party’s!) stayed flawless all day and night—through happy tears, dancing, and everything in between. I received so many compliments, and it truly gave me that extra boost of confidence walking down the aisle.

The lovely ladies did my makeup for my son's wedding. Was worried as I have very uneven skin tone and extremely dry skin. I shouldn't have worried! They did an exceptional job of covering my darker skin patches, and the makeup was so subtle, while feeling lovely, it didn't feel heavy at all. I also thought the communication pre wedding was excellent as they asked us all what look we would like. Would recommend without a doubt. More...

Jayne and Jill did my hair and make up for my wedding. I absolutely loved both and received so many lovely comments. I am 53 years old and wanted to look and feel my best, with something natural but more than my daily look which is what Jill and Jayne created perfectly for me. My make up was natural and lasted all day and night, despite being a really hot, August day. My hair was partly up with flowers and that too lasted all day and night. As well as both making me look my best, they are both fantastic company, friendly and funny. I enjoyed every minute of my time with them and it was the perfect start to a perfect day. It was such a pleasure working with Jill and Jayne of Yorkshire Dale's wedding hair and makeup. From booking, well ahead of the wedding, the communication was easy and there was plenty of consultation. Jill and Jayne helped to make the morning of my wedding as prefect as it could be. They were professional but personal too, and really well organised to ensure myself, my two bridesmaids and my Mum and mother-in law looked amazing for the big day, in fact, their timing was impeccable! I chose Jill and Jayne to do my wedding hair and make up along with 4 of my bridesmaids and it was the best decision! The trial was great we agreed all make up colours and I had 3 different hair styles! I wasn’t sure about a up do but after Jayne did it, i knew it was the right style for me! On the wedding day itself they were both great, we were all ready on time and the girls looked amazing! All our styles and make up stayed put all day and night! Communication was brilliant too! I highly recommend Jill and Jayne, they have a world of experience and I felt a million dollars, on the trial day and especially on my wedding day! Jill did an excellent job on my wedding makeup and hair. She made sure to find out exactly what I wanted and that everything was agreed ahead of time so there were no unwelcome surprises on the day. Jill and Jayne did hair and makeup for me and my matron of honour. I would recommend them 100%. From trials to on the day, they listened to our wishes and gave us exactly what we wanted. I had a natural dewy look and my hair pinned up, didn't have to touch up at all, just a bit of lippy now and then. My beautiful friend also had an up do and a bit more glam make up, she looked beautiful. So easy to organise everything with the ladies and they came out to the hotel on the day. Jill and Jayne were fantastic. Great communication from the start. We had trials for hair and makeup for me and my matron if honour. The ladies gave us plenty of time to explore what we wanted and really made us feel relaxed.

In the wedding day, they arrived at the hotel in plenty of time. We loved our hair, the makeup was beautiful and I never had to touch it up once, just a bit of lipstick.
