We have used Weald on 2 occasions for handyman tasks. We cannot fault the quality of work done. We are of an age that makes tasks that we could do in our youth not possible any more. I enjoy the variety and the satisfaction of putting things right for people. Every home is different, and no two jobs are ever the same. What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to build something of my own that was hands-on, personal, and rooted in quality workmanship. Weald Property Works allows me to combine problem-solving with practical skills, offering a reliable service where attention to detail and trust really matter.

Clients choose me because I’m reliable, straightforward, and I care about doing things properly. I turn up when I say I will, explain what needs doing in plain English, and work to a high standard without cutting corners. I treat every home with respect and aim to build long-term trust, not just tick off a job.

Yes, for certain issues I can offer remote advice and guidance. This includes initial consultations, fault-finding via photos or video, and advice on repairs or maintenance before work is booked in. It’s often a helpful way to assess a problem, give honest guidance, and save time for everyone involved.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I continue to follow sensible hygiene and safety practices to protect customers and their homes. This includes good hand hygiene, using PPE where appropriate, and maintaining ventilation while working indoors. If a client prefers extra precautions, I’m always happy to accommodate them and discuss what makes them most comfortable. The aim is to carry out work safely, respectfully, and with minimal disruption.
