Very professional service from start to finish. Engineers arrived promptly to give us a quote for removal and replacement of our loft insulation. As a company they were transparent about all costs, and the best options available to suit our requirements. Work was carried to a great standard (from removal and clean of the loft and existing insulation, and replacement of new). Their communication throughout has been great, always quick to respond to our queries and any questions/changes to the work we required. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for loft insulation work to be carried out. More...

Underfloor Insulation installed flooring in my loft recently. I had a great experience with this company from start to finish and recommend their services. Steven came out for the estimate and answered all our questions explaining clearly what was needed in a friendly and helpful way. He sent us a quote with various different options at different prices so we didn't feel at all pressured to go with the most expensive version. In the end the quote was reasonable so we went with Underfloor.Ian and Jamie came out to install the flooring and were professional and serious all the way through. They worked non stop in hot conditions and did a great job. They also took care to protect the carpets with plastic and even vacuumed at the end which I appreciated.Five stars. More...

I'd been ghosted by someone who gave a quote the year previous so contacted Underfloor Insulation who came across to Dundee within 2 weeks to have a look at what could be done. After a delay in getting a quote out to me (partially my fault for not chasing) which turned out to be very reasonably priced - i was happy to proceed and they fit me in very quickly. The guys were very professional and when more access hatches (6 in total) were required they clearly explained why (incl the boss phining me to double check) - unfortunately some needed to be under laminate so we skipped the bathroom as it was recently renovated but they did their best to gain access from areas that could be concealed.I was surprised how quickly the job was done - they guys didn't stop for a break. All in all very happy and would recommend. We we went ahead with our quote and the team came out, cleared out our old bagged insulation, added new installation ontop of our current installation to bring it up to industry standard and boarded a portion of our loft beside the hatch which now gives us space to for storage. We looked at a couple of companies for under floor insulation for our 1910 house and we went with Underfloor Insulation Glasgow after being impressed with their knowledge, our options and guidance on what had to be considered for a property of the age of ours. Karl was fantastic during our survey and we were happy to go with the quote provided. We had the team out for 2 days last week who were also brilliant. Professional, tidy and good communication with a couple of hiccups which were easily resolved. Can’t thank Steven, Karl and the entire team at the company who made the whole process very easy for us. Called around different companies and ended up going ahead with this one, the price was on the lower end and overall we got a whole new storage space in a derelict loft. Floors were raised over the previous insulation, brand new ladder and shelving was included. They pushed outwards as far as they can go to provide as much space as possible and we couldn't be happier with the result. They were very quick, respectful and cleaned up everything afterwards once done in under 6 hours. More...

What do you love most about your job?
Being a small company I can keep an eye on all our work and the quality of the the installs. We don't run late, fit jobs properly and have happy customers. Its such a breath of fresh air just doing things right the first time and knowing there's not going to be any problems after we've left site.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been running my own business since 2008. After 2 years of unemployment and being "over qualified" or "under experienced" for everything I applied for, I got involved in surveying then fitting insulation through the governments CERT scheme.
Why should our clients choose you?
The industry has come a long way since 2008 and we have learned a lot along the way. Surveyors and Installers are much better trained than back then, the rules and best practices are continually evolving and everyone is benefiting from the improvements and professionalism that has grown. Knowledge, experience, quality workmanship as well as pleasant fitters that clean up after themselves should make your dealings with us quite pleasant and painless.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
We can offer advice, check EPC's and have a look at your property on Streetview. We have fit tens of thousands of properties around Scotland, chances are we will have a good idea what to expect.
Loft Insulation
Loft insulation top ups or removal and replacement. We can install downlighter fire caps, pipe lagging and water tank insulation if required. Fully qualified fitters. We recommend and use only top quality, A1 fire rated Knauf insulation.
Underfloor Insulation
We install floor insulation in new build and retrofit existing homes with a suspended timber floor. We fit from below, ensuring correct airflow, minimising thermal bridging and unwanted draughts. Insulation is additionally secured with teflon netting to keep it in place.
