'My husband and I bought a renovated Victorian house in Kingston on the borders of South West London and Surrey. It was a daunting prospect to make this new 'shell' of a house into a home which worked for the two of us whilst being able to host an ever-growing family of children, their partners and grandchildren. Brittannie guided us every step of the way and always had an assured calmness about her. She (gently) pushed us outside our comfort zone at times but we were always pleased with her ideas - and glad she had. She bought a range of furniture and fittings shrewdly on our behalf - always kept us in the loop - and kept meticulous records of expenditure against budget. We are very pleased with the outcome and my husband and I recommend her whole-heartedly - and he's pretty fussy! More...

I decided to find an interior designer for my living room which was an odd shape. I met with many designers and finally found Brittannie.
She listened to what I liked and disliked and came up with a brilliant proposal out of three choices. From my point of view it was very easy as Brittannie did all the hard work. I was updated constantly throughout our time together, She worked so hard, and was very well organised from delivery of furniture, lights, curtains and all the special items she purchased that I could never image would work when placed together. Now I have a stylish and relaxing living room. I always felt that interior designers were not for my home, but to Brittanie it did not matter about the size of the property or the cost, every job was important to her. Moving house is a really overwhelming experience at age 92! Let alone thinking about turning your new flat into a new home decoration wise. I asked Umber Interiors to help with my bedroom and dining room. Brittannie took away all the stress. One week in and I already have a dining room ready to entertain guests. The existing bedroom was so hideous and over stocked with built in wardrobes and storage, I could see the wood for the trees. Brittannie cleverly reworked the existing built in wardrobes saving me time and money. Seeing the design as a 3D render first, really helped me visualise the new layout. Brittannie was hired to do the interior design for a 4 bedroom, beachfront property. From the very beginning, Brittannie fully understood my vision and was given full control to make decisions on the design.
Every idea and detail she presented was well above what I ever thought was possible with this house. She was incredibly enthusiastic throughout and put an enormous amount of work in to make sure the house not only looked amazing, but also stuck to the budget.

What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2020 my oldest friend bought his first home. As a Captain he works away at sea most of the year and wasn't going to have the time to renovate his home himself.
Having always loved design i offer to design and decorate his four bed, three bath, home on Southbourne Beach. Inspired by the properties name Azure, the home's beachside proximity and globe trotting owner, all rooms were designed to reflect a laid back, Miami Beach house.
Whilst he's away working his home is available for rent on Air BnB.
Since the projects completion it's been fully booked on Air BnB and the property value has increased by 36%.
