Recently had solar panels battery storage and an ev charger fitted . Jonathon was extremely professional and explained the whole process ,he gave us a price which we were happy to pay , unlike the previous companies we had seen . The installation was carried out in one day by Ben and his team to an extremely high standard .After the installation Ben installed all the relative apps on our phones and explained how to use them ,the guys just couldn’t do enough for you .The after sales is equally as professional .Jeff called to see us to make sure we were 100% happy (which we are) Danielle has also been extremely helpful . We have been extremely happy and impressed with our experience with Think Free Solar from start to finish. The initial consultation was excellent. Daryl took the time to explain all of the available options in detail and designed a bespoke system tailored to our energy usage and specific requirements. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and there was never any pressure to make a decision. After receiving the quote, we were very happy with both the proposed solution and the price, so we decided to go ahead. From that point onwards, we were kept fully informed about what to expect on the installation day, making the whole process feel organised and stress-free. The installation week began with the scaffolders arriving on the Sunday. They erected the scaffolding quickly and efficiently, were friendly and respectful of our property, and left everything clean and tidy. On Monday morning at 8:00am, the installation got underway. The first member of the team arrived alongside the delivery of the equipment, with the rest of the four-person installation team arriving shortly afterwards. During the installation, the fitters suggested a slight change to the planned location of the battery. Before any changes were made, the office contacted me to ensure I was completely happy with the proposed alteration and to reassure me that there was absolutely no pressure to deviate from the original plan if I preferred. That level of customer care was greatly appreciated. In the end, the fitter's recommendation proved to be the better option, and I'm very glad I took their advice. The installation itself progressed quickly, with the team working efficiently across multiple areas at the same time. It was obvious they were an experienced and well-coordinated team. When the time came to switch the power off to connect everything, the interruption lasted around 20 minutes, exactly as we had been advised during the original quotation. Once the installation was complete, the team helped me set up the apps on my phone, explained how the system worked, and made sure I was comfortable using it before they left. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout. On Tuesday, the scaffolders returned to dismantle the scaffolding. Once again, they worked efficiently, treated our property with respect, and left everything exactly as they found it. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. It's rare to come across a company that is so well organised, communicates so effectively, and clearly takes pride in both its workmanship and customer service. Very pleased with my solar panels. A huge thank you for all the team from Think Free Solar, very professional in all matters. Daryl explained in detail all what I needed for my system, what is suitable for our house, as every house is having different architecture and exposure to sun or size. 15 solar panels, battery, inverter and EV charger installed, very happy with all the system and with the fact that you can charge your battery overnight with 8p/kw, depending on what electric company you are with. The scaffold team wear in early, erected scaffold and left the place clean and tidy. The installation team wear fantastic didn’t pick up all the names but think Ben was the spark, John ran the cables and 2 roofers fitting rails and panels on the roof in 30degree heat wear solid. Can't recommend Think Free Solar highly enough, the whole process was so easy and personal. Daryl visited to assess what we needed and what was possible; he talked through the options available, clearly explaining the variations and answering all my questions. They were happy to change the proposed system when my requirements changed making sure it still supplied what I needed. There was a prompt response from them after my use of a comparison site to find a company that provided and installed a solar system.
