My inspiration came from my own experiences of caring for family members. Through that journey, I learned first-hand what good care looks like and how important it is for people to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

I strongly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to choose where they receive their care and how that care is delivered. Remaining in the comfort and familiarity of home can make an enormous difference to a person's wellbeing, independence, and quality of life. That belief inspired me to establish Home Care business, where compassionate, person-centred care is always at the heart of everything we do.

At Sylvian Care, we believe that care is about people, not just tasks. We take the time to understand each person's routines, preferences, and what matters most to them so we can provide truly personalised support.

Our carers are carefully selected not only for their experience and skills but also for their compassion, reliability, and professionalism. We strive to provide consistency by keeping the same small team of carers wherever possible, allowing trusting relationships to develop naturally.

Whether you require a short daily visit, complex care, live-in care, or end-of-life support, our focus is always on delivering safe, respectful, and high-quality care that promotes independence and gives families complete peace of mind.

Our care services are delivered in person within clients' own homes, as we believe face-to-face support provides the highest standard of personal care.

However, we are happy to offer initial consultations, care planning discussions, and family meetings by telephone or video call where appropriate. We also keep families updated remotely, with the client's consent, so that loved ones can remain informed and involved in their care even if they live further away.

The safety of our clients and carers remains our highest priority. Our staff continue to follow robust infection prevention and control procedures, including regular hand hygiene, the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) where required, and thorough cleaning of equipment. Carers do not attend visits if they are unwell and follow current UK health guidance to minimise the risk of infection. We also work closely with clients and families to adapt our approach where necessary, ensuring safe, high-quality care is delivered at all times.
