I instructed Survey World to provide a specialist second survey on specific structural issues that required further clarification. Paul Weston provided very clear initial information on the phone outlining precisely the service that he would provide and the assessments that would be undertaken. He provided an extremely thorough written report as well as backing up his findings with a large portfolio of photographs. He is an extremely experienced structural engineer with many years in the industry and indeed I wish that I had used this company to carry out my initial RICS 3 Level Survey in the first place. After contacting survey World we were quickly put in touch with Paul Weston who after agreeing a date time and price was on time and soon put you at ease with his professionalism.
We were needing a roof survey in order to check that expanding foam had not effected our roof structure.
After a short period of time Paul had inspected the roof space, took lots of evidence of the roof quality and then proceeded to leave and a couple of days later our comprehensive survey was with us.
I can not speak more highly about the service and Pauls friendly manner.
Its nice to know that there are companies out there that do still care.

I needed a structural survey done urgently on a residential property in order to secure a mortgage. I advertised the job and Survey World contacted me promptly. They understood the urgency of my situation and took it very seriously. It is no exaggeration to say they took the matter "personally" in a way that pleasantly surprised me. They listened to me to understand my concerned in a reassuring way. By their professional and confident conduct I was quickly reassured that all will be ok. Normally the survey and report would take weeks. However, they made room in their diary to get me the report ASAP, within 24 hours, depending on how soon they can get access to the property. Paul Weston was the structural engineer assigned to the case. Getting access to the tenanted property was not easy. They liaised persistently with the letting agent to arrange urgent access.
As soon as they secured appointment they attended without delay. Paul completed the survey on 22/10/2024 and I received the report on 23/10/2024 at around 9am.

I give them top mark on customer service, professionalism, industry knowledge and reliability.

I am a FTB and found a large crack in my new house's concrete floor on the first day I collected the keys. I contacted Paul and his team in a panic not knowing what to do. Paul arranged a site visit within 2 days of me making initial contact. He arrived, carried out his wonderful work and I had the full structural report a day after his visit. While Paul was on site, he also took me through exactly what was happening with the floors in my new house, which helped put my mind at ease.
