We worked with Kate and Celine from Studio Heim on the design for our kitchen, dining room, hall and utility room after knocking through a wall to create a larger space, and we are absolutely delighted with the result. From the beginning they were easy to work with, really listening to our ideas while also bringing their own expertise and creativity. They were very considerate of our budget and preferences, which made the whole process feel collaborative and enjoyable. We had already seen the standard design from our kitchen supplier, which was perfectly fine, but the design from Studio Heim completely transformed how the space works. They created a much better flow through the rooms and incorporated a large walk-in pantry that we had asked for but which the kitchen supplier hadn’t really understood how to include. What has made the biggest difference, though, is their attention to detail. Everything was thought through carefully, from the light switches to the tiling choices and even the cabinet door knobs. All those small decisions have added up to a space that feels cohesive, practical and beautiful. We’re so pleased with the design and very grateful for their thoughtful approach. Having a professional guide and support us through the rather daunting nesting process proved invaluable, and we were delighted to find the experience far more relaxed and straightforward than we could have ever expected. From just an initial conversation and a Pinterest board, Kate was able to extract the very essence of our needs and wants, and bring into reality something that not only matched them, but exceeded them.
Kate was always available to us and open to any queries we might have, and responded with ingenious and beautiful solutions.
For personal reasons, we were unfortunately away from home during the actual assembly of the nursery, but Kate and her team worked so carefully in our absence. Upon our return, we were overjoyed to discover she had created the perfect space for us and baby - a nursery beyond anything we could have imagined or hoped for.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Studio Heim was born from a desire to create a more thoughtful and personal approach to interior design.
