What can I say about Jason! He’s just such a friendly, likeable guy who just fits in and makes you feel so comfortable. We met him on a what’s app call the week of the wedding to go though everything we needed.

Can't recommend Strong Rock photography enough! Absolutely amazing from the get go and we're so relaxed about when plans had to change throughout the day. The fact they are a couple adds to the experience and there are two photographers on hand all day long to capture so many special moments. The icing on the cake is the backdrop set up that allows guest to have professional group photographs after the bride and groom shoot. The big group shots were amazing and actually get everybody in by using a drone...so clever! More...

Myself and my partner are not big on having our photos taken and we’re a-bit nervous of finding a photographer that would ‘get us’.
When we first got in contact with Jason and Pearl we knew that they understood what we were after, how we would want the day to go and knew they would fit into our day.
It was like having extra guests who just had us laughing the day. We had our photos back really quickly which has helped the wedding blues.
The photos are stunning and I have some beautiful ones of our children now as well.
We also opted for the videography and are soo excited to see our day again.

Very thorough, excellent portfolio and could agree to the date now.

Where do I start....... From our very first zoom meeting with Pearl and Jason, it was like catching up with old friends as they made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. We had a few good laughs while getting to know each other and this made a great foundation for our actual wedding day as both Pearl & Jason knew exactly what they were doing due to the information gathered at our first meeting.
On our wedding day day Pearl & Jason were such a pleasure to see when they came to see me getting ready, they made me relax when they run through everything with me as they were so casual about it all I didn't even realise they had filmed half of what they had filmed until we received our completed wedding video, and boy what a video it is. It really was magical to watch and so difficult to keep a dry eye while doing so.
Pearl & Jason are very gifted at what they do, but are also the most generous, kind, thoughtful and caring people you will ever meet and trust me, you really don't want to trust such a special day to anyone else.

We booked Strong Rock for a company family summer party of about 300 attendees, with static photography, roaming photography and also drone video footage. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Strong Rock- Jason was very friendly, got in touch with us very quickly and wanted to work with us to ensure we got the most out of our services with Strong Rock.

Both Jason and his wife attended on the day and were incredibly professional, efficient and friendly with us and all attendees. They definitely made us feel we were in safe hands and had nothing to worry about with capturing the great moments from the day.

The photos and drone video we received were great quality and we received great feedback from the company staff about the family photos taken in particular.

There was an event in the city centre on the day meaning there were road closures- both Jason and his wife made sure they attended the event on time and with all the equipment they needed which was incredibly appreciated.

Overall, I couldn't recommend Strong Rock enough! Their price was incredibly reasonable, we couldn't have been happier with our experience, the photos and videos turned out great and Strong Rock are incredibly professional, friendly and passionate about what they do. We'll definitely be going back to them in the future. More...

I have been meaning to write this review for weeks! Apologies for the huge delay.

If you are looking for wedding photography/videography with a bit of quirk and two of the most fantastic people to put you at ease? Then look no further.

I was really apprehensive about booking a photographer for our wedding and from first contact, Jason was funny, relatable and talked through in detail what StrongRock could offer us for our special day.

Jason and Pearl were incredible from start to finish during our wedding. Not only were they hilarious, but also professional. The end results were edited so quickly and given over to us in such an easy and accessible manner! We loved being able to access our photographs and videos whilst on our honeymoon (the following week) and also the ease of sharing our footage with friends and family.

I can not recommend their services enough and if you want the full package, these guys are it.

Absolutely recommend Jason and Pearl!
They made our day so special and we now have some beautiful memories of our special day with fantastic video footage and photos - really capturing the emotion of the day. All our guests have said their own footage and photos aren't a patch on what we have.
We had our wedding in April 2023 at West Usk Lighthouse, the weather wasn't great but you couldn't tell from the photos - some how they have made this add to the atmosphere!
Genuine and lovely people - couldn't do enough for us (Pearl even offered to help me into my dress as I was on my own).
They really made the day feel relaxing but still so professional.
I would use them again in a heart beat.

I had my wedding in craig y nos castle on the 15th of June. And after reading some reviews decided to go ahead with Jason and Pearl, they where both amazing, really lovely people, I even had a face time chat with Jason a few days before the wedding which was lovely. We had Strong Rock do the videography of our ceremony and speeches, and they were nothing short of perfection! They were even extremely accommodating with a schedule mix-up which was entirely my fault, but they handled it like absolute pros! The video came out amazing, it was beautifully shot and edited and really captured the best bits! I am so grateful to Jason & Pearl for capturing such a beautiful video of our special day. Where to start with Jason and Pearl…

An absolutely brilliant and personable duo to capture my engagement with special photos and a video.

For an occasion like a proposal, having a photographer will mean they inevitably play a big part of the day. Jason and Pearl did that so well, putting the cherry on top of the cake on the day with their warm service. Made us laugh, gave us great suggestions for pictures and ensured we were able to enjoy the moment with each other.

As more practical points for the review, Jason was responsive throughout and answered all questions quickly. He took my requests on board completely, whilst adding complementary suggestions to help meet my vision for the day. They were flexible right up until the proposal time with frequent changes to plans/times. Finally, they helped us choose perfect areas around Cardiff with their local experience. They also provided a quick turnaround after the day meaning we received the pics/video soon after.
