Great to have Steve again for our annual Family Day on 15th of June. He's brilliant walking around doing magic tricks for small groups, but this year he really helped me out by also doing a show as the weather was bad and I thought it would help occupy people. We were having a family gathering in celebration of a “big” birthday and decided to hire a professional magician to kickstart the occasion. Never done this before but when doing a bit of online searching, I just got the feeling that Steve would be the man for us. Turned out to be an inspired choice, he was fabulous.

The party was only 16, made up of 5 children (ages 5-11), 2 teenagers and 9 adults, so a big mix of ages. However, Steve pitched his show just right. The young children were entranced and the older people amazed at the “magic.”

It set the whole day off on a high, which continued through the day, and everyone there thought Steve was exceptional.

Also, very importantly, he is a really nice guy who it was a pleasure to invite into the house.

So, if you’re ever looking for a magician to perform at your event, I would have no hesitation in recommending Steve. Just get him booked, you won’t regret it.

We had Steve at our care home for a gentlemen’s birthday and it was just fantastic, Steve was brilliant and the tricks and magic was simply amazing, everyone really enjoyed it and we couldn’t recommend Steve enough, great demeanour, talent and overall a fantastic time!

I booked Steve for our work Christmas Party after seeing him perform at a wedding earlier in the year. I hadn’t anticipated I was to be met with a wave of scepticism and general derision. People actively told me that magic wasn’t for them and thought I’d wasted money from the budget. These are the same people that without 5 minutes of Steve arriving were stood open-mouthed or letting out shrieks of amazement.

Steve worked the room masterfully and won over even the most hardened naysayers. He arrived early and stayed beyond his finish time when people (including me!) begged for ‘just one more!’ He is such a down to earth guy with a very personable style and sense of humour, he would easily fit in at whatever event he was booked for.

And then the magic! Wow. There is no way to describe the ridiculousness of it and how it will leave you completely baffled. How the hell do the cards disappear when they are in your hands? His trick with the extending USB cables when I thoroughly pulled and tugged each one and they don’t budge was another personal highlight. Just book him, right now!

Anyone who is looking for a magician to hire for any event, I would highly recommended Steve Gore.

His tricks were mind blowing and he fitted in so well that he felt like another guest. He kept everyone entertained for the drinks reception, and thanks to Steve there was no lull that usually comes after the ceremony.
