James and his team were superb throughout my flat roof replacement. When we had a sudden bout of heavy rain, a leak appeared and made us very nervous. I reached out to Astral Roofing & Building (James) who explained the issue. He was transparent about process, options and costs. He sent us a quote with two different options and did not push us into anything. His team came round the next morning to put a temporary cover on to prevent more water coming in until his team were available to undertake work. Within a week our roof was complete, this was amazing considering the weather forecast. Filip and his team arrived and did not stop they worked long hours to ensure the job was finished to a great standard, this included the final day leaving at 18:05 on a Saturday (Valentine’s Day). Throughout the work filip was taking pictures of progress which were relayed to James then quickly forwarded to us along with a phone call explaining what had been done and what was next to do. No payment was required until all work was complete and when we were happy, which put us at ease. The team took rubbish away and after every day left things how they found them. We had an excellent service from James and his team, replacing the flat roof across our property. All the workmen worked throughout the day, were courteous at all times and cleared the materials away daily leaving the property clean and tidy. I was given updates by James verbally and with pictures throughout the work. I decided to also replace the garage roof and this was completed to the same standard as the house flat roof. Avoid!! I spend almost £1500 to get my roof fixed last year, it leaked after 2 weeks. I’m still battling to get my full refund. Be careful of all the ‘postive’ reviews, I wrote a bad review but they persuaded me to change it. I won’t be changing this one. First of all, they did the job then left all the rubbish in the wrong lawn which damaged, it wasn’t until I wrote my review that they took it away. They are also named after a very similar roofing company which I don’t think it was by mistake. I accidentally took the wrong company to court which affected their CCJ. I am still going through the court process which is very time consuming when a simple refund would’ve done. If you ‘fix’ a leak and it leaks at the first chance then it’s not fixed. We got a relative to fix for free who’s not even a roofer. So please avoid, there are many other roofers out there. More...

Very happy with the work that Surrey Roofers did for me recently. After the heavy rains and high winds, water was leaking in where a slate had been dislodged. James's team attended quickly to survey, and then scheduled the work within a couple of days to make sure it was done before more rains were expected.They supplied detailed pictures and video before and after, and also carried out additional work to replace some damaged slates and restore lead flashing on the chimney brickwork.Excellent communication and quick work, will definitely be looking to use them when more extensive work is needed.
