Having not booked a professional magician before we were apprehensive as to what we were letting ourselves into. This was immediately forgotten as Rod enter the room and quickly started his routine. Trick after trick was performed with amazement and everyone from young children to the older generation thoroughly enjoyed his level of unbelievable tricks. Rod’s full programme was outstanding entertainment and we would have no issues whatsoever in recommending and re-booking him for any future engagements. We recently booked Rod for our January wedding at the Chilli Barn and couldn’t recommend him enough! I found Rod through searching online for a magician. Rod contacted me quickly and explained exactly what type of magic he did ie/ close up and a magic show. I explained there were 19 family members in a private room with ages ranging from 3-70yrs. Rod reassured me that he would tailor everything he did to meet the expectations of the audience on the night. The Care Home where I work, Goldsborough Manor in York, recently celebrated its first birthday. We wanted a Magician at the party as it was mainly going to be a sit down affair. We thought it would be nice to have someone going around the tables doing magic tricks before lunch was served. I contacted Bark, and Rod Williams replied to me, and we spoke a couple of times, mainly to discuss what the home wanted. Rod was booked for my daughter's wedding on the 16th August 2025 and he did not disappoint! As he made his way around our guests he amazed everybody with his magic and everyone was commenting on how blown away they were by his magic skills. Our guests became a little spread out after the speeches but Rod was great at finding everyone and making sure everyone had seen his magic tricks. just got rod out to a company summer event the other day, to say he was a mind reader isnt high enough praise, and I still cant work out a single trick (despite my attempts) highly recommend as an entertainer for a group/work setting, the man delivers and more

Booking Rod was a very easy process, he discussed our requirements and he kept us informed of his arrival time on the day.
We were a family party with an age range of 6 to 87 and Rod did close up magic at individual tables which had us all mesmerised, most of it under the scrutiny of the teenage mobile phone. Rod did a show which also had us all mesmerised and he allowed a very excited 6 year old to help him with a trick, he was also brave enough to use two very excitable 6 & 8 year boys to help him with his magic. Rod attended an 80th Birthday party & dinner at a private restaurant, where we had 30 guests.

Rod circulated through the guests during the pre-dinner drinks period as our guests arrived with impressive displays of his magic, which really set the relaxed tone for the evening.

After the dinner & speeches, Rod provided a very entertaining magic show for around 1 hour & he soon won over his audience with his amazing tricks.
