The live music on Sunday at Coppa Club Cobham was exactly what we were hoping for. The guitarist and solo vocalist created a brilliant atmosphere—relaxed yet engaging, and perfectly suited to the space. The setlist was well thought out, with a great mix of classics and contemporary songs that appealed to a wide range of our guests. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Reading the room and being adaptable is absolutely key. Sometimes you walk into a gig with a strict music brief, but know the crowd needs something else to make the place pop! Working ahead of time with clients on their musical tastes and preferences really helps but, equally, knowing your music inside out and prepping well in advance is the difference to making the musical journey seem effortless and lets everyone relax and enjoy the vibe.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
We adapt our sets to each individual crowd, for e.g. for daytime garden parties and business soirees we play relaxed music that doesn't overpower the ability for people to connect and network, for bar and hotel venues we play upbeat music that builds a vibe, and for clubs and events we set the place alight with all the latest tracks that get everyone up dancing and having fun. For weddings, we consult with the couples on all the music they need for special moments like cake cutting and first dance, and build sets according to age ranges and musical tastes.
What do you love most about your job?
Playing music that gets people moving and having a great time. Music brings joy and we're privileged to be able to play to crowds of people and evoke emotions that make each event memorable for all the right reasons.
What inspired you to start your own business?
All for the love of music!! We enjoy playing great music that allows people to dance and experience joy and fun.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Hygiene is very important. We clean all necessary items between hires and have protocols in place to limit exposure during events.
