Part of our garden fence fell over in the storm on a Friday. I emailed Rob and he called me very quickly to arrange a time to have a look at the job and quote for it. He turned up the next day (Saturday) when he said he would and was very knowledgeable and polite. He and his equally polite team came the following Wednesday and fixed the fence. It looks great, is under guarantee, the site was left immaculately and we will definitely use Rob and his team again if we need to. I used RD landscaping to replace some old fences and I could't be more pleased with the work. Rob and his team were very helpful from the start. I wasn't sure of the best products to use to prevent any future weather damage, Rob suggested using concrete boards and posts as these were not overly expensive but were much more durable. I didn't pay a penny until the job was complete and I could see what I was paying for. I am incredibly happy with my new fence. R D Landscaping worked for 4 days erecting side fences and a pair of gates at the rear of our home.

When I accepted their proposal, I wrote stating that it was necessary to have a trial turn with my car in the lane behind our house to ensure that the gates were in the right position and had the necessary width to enable me to drive the car into the garden safely.

After R D Landscaping stated they had completed the work, Mr. Davey emailed me for payment to his account and our bank ensured a transfer was validated.

Two days after completion, I emailed Mr Davey to inform him that it was not possible to drive the car safely through the gates he had erected.

The following day, I emailed him asking him to make the necessary changes within ten working days. When I next heard from him, he twice phoned me with abusive tirades for complaining. More...

After 2 days you email me regarding the size of the gates, the gates which we agreed a size on before any work was started! The same gates you were happy with when the job was completed! I assured you, although the gates were the agreed size, I would get back to you the following day to change them! The gates fitted are 8ft wide and your car is just over 5ft. In my opinion there is no reason why you can not park the car in this space, however I was happy to amend the gates to suit your preference despite changing your mind sine completing the job! I then receive an email from yourself, which unfortunately was not read by myself straight away. i now notice you remove your original review which was left after all work was completed and paid for, and replaced it with an inaccurate and unfair review. I only hope that future customers will notice the only reviews I have ever had other than your second review are 5 stars, and I have nothing but positive feedback due to being nothing but honest, hardworking, reliable. Rob visited & had a look at what I had & listened to what I wanted. I am so glad I listened to his advice as I really don't think I would have been as happy with my idea in the end.
They came in on the first day. Both my gardens were cleared of everything (including old decking & a shed) by lunchtime. I didn't believe they could do as asked within the 5 days that Rob said. How wrong was I. Each day Rob kept us up to speed with what had been done & what they planned to do the next day.
