As we were embarking on a fairly big project, (kitchen extension with bifold doors; reconfiguring the patio; adding a downstairs bathroom;
insulating the whole house), we painstakingly researched several builders.
In the end we chose PT Design, as they itemised everything which was on budget, and very thorough in their attention to detail. Inevitably there were unforeseen extras, but we were warned about these.
Paul and his team, were extremely helpful, discreet, and very professional. They also gave us many ideas and tips, and were excellent at solving problems that would inevitably arise. We are delighted with the end result as they have transformed our house.

What guarantee does your work come with?
We adhere to UK law in terms of liability for any defective work, however in all our years of being in business we have not carried out nor been accused of defective work. Standard manufacturer guarantees on products/materials used. Up to £5,000,000.00 public liability insurance.
What do you love most about your job?
Client satisfaction as we are passionate about the work we carry out. We also love the variety of work this industry offers and getting to know our clients as we work with them to ensure, as far as practicably possible, that all their individual requirements and expectations are met.
What inspired you to start your own business?
An early fascination of building architecture and a desire to construct new structures and be involved in renovations of existing buildings and homes. We were also motivated by the opportunity to work with a variety of tradesmen and build professional relationships with clients from all over London and Greater London.

In terms of providing all documents, links to other industry professionals and general information we use email, WeTransfer, Zoom etc. but the nature of our core business dictates that it cannot be carried out on line.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We require all workers to ensure that handwipes and alcohol based hand gels are used on a regular basis. Tools are regularly wiped down with alcohol based gel. We ensure that gels and wipes are always available on site as well as face masks. If any worker presents ill with Covid like symptoms on site, they will are required to take a Covid-19 test.
