This company is totally useless, do not rent the properties that they manage! Some fence panels blew down in January which we promptly reported. We have sent numerous follow-ups. It is now almost May and the broken fence panels are still lying the backyard and the job has not even been scheduled. If I could give 0 stars I would. Appointment at 10 am got there at 10:11 Bcz of a blood test and I was driving slow. Got here. She made us wait 30 minutes it’s 10:41 as I’m typing this. She’s taking pictures and clearing the house. And also was very unresponsive and rude and heard nothing from her in that 30 mins and didn’t see her face either. She could’ve done all of that in those 11 min or even before if they’re so prepared and were annoyed at us for being a couple of min late. More...

Great agency, very efficient with all the back office automatic systems. They are fair to tenants and landlords. They have just let out another house for me and take care of all the admin to a high standard for a reasonable fee. They rigorously enforce landlords responsibilities so the tenants and landlords know the law has been adhered to. More...

They used to be called south Manchester flat agency. Worse staff I have ever dealt with. Refused to fix serious damp issue in the property for over 2 years. When I complained about issue they would use excuse after excuse not to carry out the repairs. When repairs were eventually agreed upon I wasn’t offered alternative accommodation while the repairs were carried out.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX In reply to your post. I would like to add that I reported the DAMP issue two years before you finally agreed to carry out repairs. I did stop using the shower during the period advised and didnt use it until further checks had been carried out. during the two years of living with the damp issue i was fobbed off by the agency time and time again saying there was no issue. When the issue was finally identified i was advised to dry out the property with a de humidifier which ran 24 hours a day for over 3 weeks at my cost, never was I given a choice of the cost we be given back to me. Yes I left items of furniture in the property but these were items were my furniture that I had bought that I couldnt take with me. I felt I was given no choice but to leave the property as I was given a timeline of 6 weeks for the bathroom to be useable again but with no choice but to like it or lump it. I have been left massively in debt at the time of the move due to having to find another property and move quickly due to the fact that the damp issue was affecting my health. if the issue had been dealt with when I first reported it and not left for 2 years to get worse then this situation would not of happended. Very easy and pleasant experience from start to finish. Staff have always been polite courteous and attentive. Graham is always responsive and prompt to respond which is rare in my experiment in the renting game. Helpful from day one to the return of my deposit. Lived in a property first managed by south Manchester flats and then rebranded/taken over by property genius. I had no problem with the landlord who lived next door but the process of moving out was very poor. Emails that didn’t make sense and dealing with Graeme who I believe is the owner was not a great experience. He was incredibly rude and patronising. I got my deposit back in full but I wouldn’t recommend as the service is pretty poor. I’ll take proper customer service over a flashy website any day thanks.Following this review Graeme was nice enough to apologise. In every instance (from banking changes to after-midnight plumbing problems), the staff was communicative and helpful to resolve issues. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! Very rude, unresponsive and unhelpful employees. Never known a company quite like it, 1 star is way too generous to give to them. Had an awful experience with Graeme in particular, would not recommend these people to anyone! Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced and the communication from PG is horrendous, slow and rude. Legal action even had to be instigated to get our deposit back. In all the years I've rented properties, this is by far the worst agency I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I feel like a One Star rating is too generous for this shambles of a company . I had arranged a viewing for Wednesday 10th October at 14.30. Rufus turned up and was nice enough, but when I asked him questions about the property he had no idea about anything, and had no information to offer us. He jokingly stated that I probably knew more than he did. He went to open the door of the flat and realised he'd brought the wrong keys. He told us we'd have to rearrange because he couldn't do the viewing and he didn't have enough time to go back to the office to get the keys, and then come back because it didn't fit in with the rest of his afternoon. I explained that we had both taken unpaid time off work to view the property and we can't just rearrange because we'd collectively lost out on £100 pay for the hours we'd lost, and we wouldn't be willing to do it again. He rang the office - referring to me as a 'girl' to one of his colleagues which I found incredibly condescending - and he arranged to go back and pick up the keys and said he'd take 35 minutes to get there, and 35 minutes to get back to us so he'd meet us back at the property at 15.30 or the latest 15.45. We came back to the property at 15.30 like we agreed and waited outside until my phone rang at 15.49 and Rufus said he'd only just got back to the office and would have to cancel on us. He told me it's not my fault - which was a ridiculous thing to say as how could an agency error be my fault in the first place? He promised me that someone from the office would ring me to rearrange a viewing - it's been three days and I haven't heard anything from anyone, not even an apology for their shoddy service. I can't believe this company is still up and running after reading other reviews. They're a bunch of cowboys, and I'm thankful that they were so terrible from the start because I've definitely dodged a bullet not having to rent a property through them. More...

I moved property's just so I didn't have to deal with these people anymore. They started off fine- nice, helpful and friendly, everything ran smoothly etc untill an on going issue came up. They have absolutely no people skills whatsoever (well they didn't with me) I've never been spoke to so rudely and to make it worse... In my own home! I felt like Graham was constantly belittling me as I'm on the younger side. He even came into my home and said that he had been to see another female tenant earlier today and made her cry... Like that's something to brag about?! I personally will be avoiding that company at all costs in the future More...

These guys are cowboys. Graeme turned up half an hour late for our viewing without calling, the former tenant had to show us around. A door handle and shower door repair took two months to fix, the contractor keeping our key the entire time. Our fridge broke and it took 16 days for a replacement to be delivered due to their lack of contractors and also because the fridge contractor couldn’t get the key because the door contractor had it. When I complained to Vicky about the delay, she explained they only had one contractor who could look at our fridge. When I then complained to Graeme and asked for compensation for food spoiling and eating takeout for two weeks, he went on to explain the “FACTS” of what “ACTUALLY” happened and that it only took two days to turnaround and they had three contractors on the job. He tried to change the story, was patronising and talked over me the entire time, not accepting any responsibility for PG’s lack of ability to do the job they are meant to do, manage properties. Hi. Viewed a property with Graeme. The property didn’t look like the images posted on Right Move. The overall decoration & fittings were very tired & worn. The kitchen looks like it needs a really good clean or possible replacement as the shelves inside the units were poor. The fridge freezer was rusty inside too. There was a tile missing in the hallway under the rad cover and the carpets throughout were either threadbare or torn. All of the paintwork looked like it needed a good soap scrub & lick of paint.
