I have been a landlord for over twenty years so I know what is expected from a letting company. I had a viewing for a property that was being listed for sale £89950 when I spoke to on the phone to arrange the viewing they told me that that was the price the vendor was looking for I was interested in the property, viewed it and wanted to offer that price. I was told I cannot submit an offer on that day as they had more viewings arranged. I still emailed them asking to submit that offer on the day but they did not they got back to me the next day saying that they have since then received higher offers around £92. Nowhere in the listing was it written that they are looking for offers in excess of the asking price and that people would be bidding on the property, also I was told what contrary offers were which I'm not sure you can do. My offer should have been submitted on the day and you cannot disclose the offers you have received for a property as it turns into an auction where people start bidding. In my last conversation with them a few hours later the property price had gone up to £93500, you cannot disclose offers to potential buyers you have already received as again it turns the sale into an auction. Looks like they play with everyone for the best price! *Edit* Regarding the below response, the issue is not with the asking price of the property nor did that warrant the review the issue is you disclosed offers you have received in an attempt to increase the actual say price you can't disclose offers to other potential buyers the sale literally turns into an auction! They are not competent and not nice, they are very bad in resolving issues.. A memo was communicated to us that Propeller lettings are the new management for the accommodation to where I am staying. Instead of the director to resolve issues amicably and understand my plight that I will be homeless , he was looking for false accusation on me and threatened me with eviction..
