What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There isn’t really a secret, it comes down to understanding what you’re working with.
Lighting is a huge part of it. Get that right and you’re already halfway there. Then it’s about framing the shot, choosing the right angle, and if people are involved, making sure they’re positioned in a way that feels natural and not forced.
A great photo is usually just a combination of small decisions done properly. Reading the environment, using what’s around you, and knowing how to bring it all together.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We always start by understanding what the video actually needs to do.
Things like:
What’s the goal of the video?
Who’s it aimed at?
Where will it be used? (website, social, ads, internal)
What do you want people to feel or do after watching it?
From there we’ll get into the practical side:
What needs filming?
Where and when?
Any examples you like?
It’s less about overcomplicating things and more about getting clear on the outcome. Once we know that, we can shape everything around it and make sure the final video actually works for your business.
What do you love most about your job?
What we love most is that we get to do it together.
As brothers, most people drift apart as they get older, but we’ve built something where we’re working side by side every day, travelling, filming and creating content we’re genuinely proud of.
On top of that, we get to help businesses grow through what we create. Seeing a client’s reaction when they watch their video for the first time, or hearing that it’s helped them win work or attract new customers, that’s the best part of it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For us, it started with wanting to help people.
We’ve always been driven by the idea of creating something that actually makes a difference for businesses, not just something that looks good, but something that works.
We also knew early on we wanted to work for ourselves and build something of our own, something we could be proud of as brothers.
Since starting, it’s taken us to places and experiences most people will never get to see, from offshore rigs to working with huge online audiences, and that’s only pushed us more to keep building.
