I had windows installed by Prestige in April 2021 and whilst the windows are OK the after care is appalling. I have still not received my FENSA certificate even after many, many calls to them. Someone knocked on my door stating that they were doing work on my road, and so were doing quotes locally. They suggested something on my porch (which isn’t an issue) so I asked for a drive quote instead. The person quoting for the drive was here for 2.5 hours. He sat on my drive whilst I discussed the crazy high price with my Dad, as he didn’t want to go and come back to do the paperwork if I agreed later. When he came back in and I again refused and stated that I was only after a quote he dropped the price a bit. He essentially refused to leave after I refused the price and said again I was only after a quote and they were the first I’d gotten, plus that I was unemployed so not looking to act on it just getting an idea. So I agreed to the works in order to cancel immediately after he finally left. I later had a document to do with finance which was signed (not by me) and when I called the finance company, and asked how they awarded the finance anyway when I had an income of £0 as I was unemployed at the time, they told me that an income had been given on the form. I confirmed to prestige again I didn’t want the work doing on the same evening, and then I had 2 calls from the person who would be doing the work and measuring up (a subcontractor) as well as another call from the main office too all still acting like I’d not cancelled the works on the same day as the quote was done. I honestly think it would have been different if I wasn’t a woman on my own, and it has made me worry about the elderly neighbours I have on my road who may have been fleeced for a driveway. The price I was quoted for roughly 20m2, some drain, block paving after taking up some creteprint was originally over £16000. Extortionate in comparison to other quotes I’ve had. More...

I genuinely wanted a quote for my windows but the constant hounding with phone calls from so many different numbers including No Caller ID (which I have to answer) has made me want to scream or cry. I’ve asked repeatedly to be taken off their list, I’ve even had my husband speak to them. You can’t badger me into buying windows. I’d rather nail wood to my windows than buy from you. Door stepped my son who innocently gave the cold caller my number. Been bombarded with calls every since, but when you ask them anything technical about roofing, regs or references they haven't got a clue. It's appears to be just a sales outfit, don't appear to do any work themselves. They also try anything to get negative reviews taken down off this website, citing hate speech and racism that AI bots flag for no reason. I've tried to delete my TP account since, guess what I still get asked for reviews. I don't normally post jobs on 'Check-a-Trade', but for two or three years I had considered having a door put into the side of my garage for easy access instead of, always, accessing it from the front / vehicle entry. However, local builders didn't want the job and so I gave it a go. I normally request two or three quotes on any major work to my property but, upon Prestige answering my request, I decided to give them a go. After finding out the cost and how the necessary works would be undertaken I decided to accept the company's quotation. The 'brickie' who did all the works did an excellent job. I never review my experience(s) for several months as, upon works being carried out, how do I know how well they will work out? I never do! However, five months on I am really glad that I had the door / frame put into the garage, off my garden, and wish I could post a picture of it to show what an excellent job Prestige did. The only major negative that I have is that when a strong wind is blowing towards the door, the rubber strip around the inside of the door 'whistles'. Thankfully, it doesn't happen too often. "Phew!" I would recommend the company for similar works. They were happy to take on the works, when no-one else was interested. These guys harrassed me AGAIN today. I had patio doors fitted a while ago, they used to be called "Heritage Home Improvements" and "Heritage Plastics" The same company. I left a review for them at the time which they requested was removed because I reviewed under the "Heritage Home Improvements" name on TP. TP obviously refused because the review is still there.. At the time they didn't issue the building regs certificate, but I noticed also they hadn't fitted a lintel. They argued the toss with me that it wasn't required because when the house was built, there wasn't one, but this was rubbish because the building regs in 1969 weren't the same as they are now and the original window was supported by bricks underneath in any event... The back of my house was now being held up by some patio doors! They claimed at the time, (March 2020) to be members of CERTASS. This was a partial truth... They were when I ordered the doors but they weren't by the time they'd been installed. The doors were very draughty in the wind and not well fitted but when the weather started getting colder, that's when I noticed more how badly they'd been fitted. They ignored all of my communication and when they called me for feedback after fitting them, I told them what the problems were and they didn't do anything. Covid then delayed everything... I wanted to sell the house by the September but I was unable to because the building regs cert still hadn't been sorted. I ended up having to pay the council myself to get one and as they weren't members of CERTASS (having not paid their bill for membership), I couldn't go to them. So, I ended up having to go to the DGCOS and trading standards. Luckily, the council man did a rubbish job and didn't notice the missing lintel during his three minute visit and he just issued the certificate... DGCOS were very helpful and in the end I got the money I'd paid to the council back and Prestige were told off but by the December, the cold draft was unbearable. I told them again what was wrong. Their solution was to come and throw some cement into the holes they'd left (10 mins he was there) and disappeared. I sold the house eventually and got out, but every so often, Prestige phone me to ask if I want work done. The latest was tonight. I repeatedly tell them no and why and never to call me again. They ignore this. I've moved to Bradford now and the cheeky guy asked me if I needed work doing on my house in Bradford! How desperate are they??! They always call from different numbers and sometimes withheld numbers. They never let up and looking at some of these reviews, they don't care. We should all report them to the ICO! More...

They knocked on my door just as I was thinking of upgrading my door to a Composite door. I never usually go with the first quote I get, but the salesman explained everything fully and I just had a gut feeling they were a decent company. And I wasn’t wrong. Review of Prestige Midlands Ltd . Stafford Court 178 Stafford Street Wolverhampton WV1 1NA Prestige Windows & Doors recently carried out work on my property, replacing the fascia, soffits, and guttering with black square guttering and downpipes. While the finished look is neat, there were several issues with both the work and the way the company handled matters. • Downpipe Misalignment: About a week after completion, the downpipe at the back of the house detached from the guttering and dropped down within the brackets. This was when I noticed that it had not been installed over the drain, but instead over the patio. After contacting Prestige, it took a week for someone to return and correct the problem. • FENSA Misrepresentation: When the company first cold-called me, I was told they were FENSA approved and that I would receive a FENSA certificate registered with the council. After chasing repeatedly for an invoice and guarantee, I was eventually informed (a month later) that fascia, soffit, and guttering work does not fall under FENSA. Instead, the guarantee is only written on the back of the invoice. This was very disappointing and felt misleading. • Scaffolding Concerns: The scaffolding erected under my old aluminium garage roof with plastic light panels was concerning. Two of the scaffold poles were not even supporting the structure, instead hanging loose from the aluminium frame. Workers stood on battens placed across the roof, which did not feel safe or professional. • Tudor Apex Issue (Broken Agreement): The most important issue for me was a breach of trust. During the planning stage, we agreed that the Tudor apex would be properly covered — a plastic panel fixed to the render with black Tudor bars fitted on top, protecting the area from weather. This was written in my copy of the plan. However, the head installer refused to carry it out, claiming it was not on their plan. A piece of solid white plastic was delivered (which I assumed was for the apex), but it was too small and therefore never used. Instead, the black Tudor strips were simply nailed over the rotten original wooden ones. One strip was left hanging by a single nail in crumbling render. When I called Prestige back, they refused to fit the backing plastic and instead just added some beading around the strips. This was not the agreed solution, and I believe it was avoided purely to keep the job within budget. • Customer Service: While some of the work looks good, I now have little faith that the Tudor section will withstand the weather. More importantly, my trust in the company has gone. Several staff members were abrupt, and at one point I was even told that I “didn’t know what I was talking about.” Conclusion: Although the overall appearance is tidy, the problems I experienced — particularly the broken promises, scaffolding concerns, and misleading information about FENSA — mean I would not recommend Prestige Windows & Doors for future work such as windows. BARGEPOLE! If I could give 0 stars I would! I have been harassed constantly by Prestige for the last 18 months. Continual phone calls, sometimes 2 / 3 a week. I told them I did not want new windows, and to please stop calling me. I tried explaining this to numerous ladies who called from Prestige - only for them to start giggling and then put the phone down on me before I had finished speaking. They always use withheld numbers. I called at least two branches, and requested they took my details off their system and to please stop calling me. It went quiet for a few months - until a couple of days ago, when we received another call from...yes, you guessed it....Prestige. This has now been escalated as they clearly think they can do what they like and are above the law. And to top it off, there was a local rep from Prestige in my local supermarket today. He was calling across to a very elderly gentleman, who was standing waiting for someone, saying "What would you do if your roof started leaking?" This really is the lowest of the low, trying to scare the elderly - shame on you Prestige. Avoid this company like the plague. More...

I made an enquiry with these comedians 2 and a half years ago. I accepted another companies quote but prestige think it's funny to keep phoning me to ask about the work i wanted done back in 2023 I must've had over 100 calls off them during this time, they even withhold their number now, I've lost count how many times I've told them I don't require their services and to not call again. I'm in greece atm for 10 days and they've called me 3 times in 2 days.
