During the welcome drinks, Phil moved effortlessly between groups of guests. Phil performed at a cousins party Saturday afternoon engaging with guests constantly around the tables in the room and did an outstanding performance on the stage at the end using audience participation and entertaining the whole room young and old with his magic and humour. When the party ended he gave the children a bag of gifts including balls then proceeded to show them how to do the disappearing ball trick which they loved. I would like to leave 2 reviews. One from me and one from my daughter who is 10.I will start. I was looking for a magician for my daughter’s 10th birthday party. I luckily found Phil while google searching. Even from my initial contact with Phil he was incredible. He isn’t the traditional silly child’s party magician he is the best of both worlds! He entertained the kids, and had the adults howling with laughter as well. I didn’t even know I was getting a comedian at the same time! He is reliable and trustworthy. He is an incredible performer and I’m still left wondering how he did that. He taught the kids tricks and arranged party bags for them all while leaving the adults amazed. He is a lovely guy who is very easy to chat to and a master of his work. Wow. Phil quite simply is BRILLIANT. I booked him for my 50th Birthday Party at home. We had around 60+ guests from 91 years old to 5 years old and he had tricks for everyone! We had the pleasure of working with Phil Pearson for the soft launch of the Voodoo Lounge at The Gothic Crab, and I can say without hesitation that he was exceptional. From the outset, Phil understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. We discussed the idea of a “gentleman magician” — subtle, engaging, never overbearing — moving quietly through the room and interacting with guests in a natural, almost effortless way. He delivered this perfectly.His sleight of hand and card work were outstanding, but it was the more unexpected moments that truly captivated the room. At one point, he took a guest’s mobile phone, placed it on the floor, appeared to control the torch remotely… and then, in a split second, it leapt straight into his hand.
