I have had the pleasure of working with Dan twice now, first when I purchased a property 4 years ago and again this week when I completed both a sale and purchase through him. Dan has been incredibly communicative, helpful and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. The most recent move took a long time (around 9 months) but Dan stay patient and proactive, nothing was ever too much trouble! Having dealt with Daniel several times over the years, I can reliably recommend both him and the service he provides. He is a personal agent unlike most of the other companies in the local area, meaning you get a much more personal touch, no passing of files across once sales are agreed or legals are happening, he is always available and is a consistent presence throughout the process, getting in front of any problems that arise and making sure our interests are looked after above all else. He was great at keeping the chain posted (when several others definitely were not!!!) and staying on top of the solicitors too. Dan was recommended to me by a family member who manages their rental property. When I first started having conversations with Dan over a year ago he was very supportive, he gave me good advice during the time my property was being managed by another agent. When the tenancy ended we decided to go with Oakmont Property Consultant’s as we were not happy with the previous agents who were managing our property. When Dan came round to view our property he explained what our property could achieve on the rental market and following further discussions we both agreed that the property would be suitable for a family. Daniel was amazing from initial meeting through to exchange and completion. He knew the market area and secured several asking price offers on our property within the first couple of days on the market! ! We would highly recommend Oakmont Property Consultants. Dan exceeded expectations and was available via Email, Telephone and WhatsApp (our preferred choice). His team produced high quality photos of our house and it was marketed on all the major sites. The first family to view made a very good offer and we accepted . Having had some poor experience with local letting agents in the past, I was nervous about letting our apartment again, but Dan has proved that there are some great people still out in the property industry, who aren't just out to make money. He's been brilliant in giving advice on the best way to rent out, answering queries, and helping to get us back up to speed with being landlords. Recently attended a viewing with Dan from oakmont.He seems very friendly, patient and professional.It was an open viewing and although our offer was not accepted, we appreciate the time he has given us and answering all our questions. However, few weeks ago; It was difficult to get through to someone, at the beginning despite us having an alert set up on Zoopla and messaging the agency straight after advertising, they did not respond.
