Graham was fantastic at our wedding, he catered to our rock and pop / dance playlist requests, played our first dance song perfectly and took requests on the night. Northern Wedding DJ played at my dad’s 50th. He was really good. He Took requests, Made the perfect playlist from the information i gave him and even let us have a go at singing karaoke.

He was really responsive from the start, there was no such thing as a silly question, and he was really helpful. He understood our very eclectic music tastes 100% and played an absolute blinder of a night, all of the our guests have told us how much they enjoyed the music!

We were unsure whether to just use our own playlist or actually book a DJ for our wedding so we left it til quite late, only booking Graham in May for our Wedding in July BUT we are so glad we did! Graham was brilliant! We were really really pleased with how everything went! Graham read the room so well, playing a mix of genres to suit who ever was up on the dancefloor at that time. Meeting everyone's different tastes was something very important to us and Graham masterfully transitioned from songs for the Mums like ABBA to songs for the drunks like Oasis! His speakers were loud and clear, the light set up was what you would expect from a travelling DJ and we just cannot express how pleased we were with how everything turned out in the evening and Graham was a massive part of that so THANK YOU!! He even granted us one last wish of playing Don McLean - American Pie as our "one last tune" despite it being close to 9 minutes long, this gave us a final drunken dance and a memory that will last a life time so once again thank you Graham! Graham did my wedding at the weekend . He was fantastic , turned up and set up early , played all the songs I'd requested plus more . We chose quiet a specific music list with a massive variation in music and left some choices up to him,  he absolutely nailed it . He's so laid back and also took any requests and found the music for us and played it on the spot.He's a nice guy too and his prices are great !Would 100% recommend More...

We hired Graham for our daughters 30th birthday party , everyone was happy with the music as we were able to talk amongst ourselves and have the nice music in the background then when it was time to party the music was great and got people up dancing everyone had a great time , Graham is a lovely person and I would recommend him .

Top lad great tunes cheap too would reccommend to anyone

Nice guy. Had him play my Gran’s 70th and he played all the stuff she knows and loves.

Turned up in good time and set up everything up, which looked pretty impressive.

He had a good chat beforehand to find out how the night was going to pan out.

There were quite a few kids around at the beginning so he played a lot of modern stuff to keep them happy and later in the evening he played all the stuff the older people like from 60s to the present day.

No complaints really. Good price too for the job. More...

We had little time before our wedding to sort a DJ and luckily for us Graham managed to step in at the last minute.

He went over everything that we needed to think about in terms of music from songs during the wedding breakfast, cutting the cake and the first dance, as well as for the wedding reception.

I thought his set up was pretty impressive and the music was just as good. Have to say I was particularly pleased with the price for the day. :)

Well, graham was really professional in the run up, we hired him for my dads surprise 50th, he was really helpful, confirmed the set list multiple times and always wanted to confirm extra details, so we figured the night was set.

Well how wrong we’re we, on the night he turned up early to set up, fabulous!! However once my mum had left to go back to my dad graham kept disappearing off into the toilets and to sit in his car even though we only had 1 hour until my dad would arrive and people were turning up to NO music on!!!

He approached me and asked if I would like background music, to which I agreed and it was put on at the LOWEST volume setting possible, I also asked 4 times for the music to be turned up and for the main lights to be switched off and for his DJ lights to be turned on, to which this didn’t happen until 30 minutes after my dad had arrived I had to turn them off MYSELF!!!

People approached graham during the night to request well known songs like “the cha cha slide” to which he said he didn’t have any of them, he showed up with a broken laptop with no back up, no songs off the playlist which included 2 of our family classics that we had specifically asked for, we even had to ask if myself or my sister could plug our phones into the speaker to play off our own playlist, to which we would of been better off!!

The 1 star is purely because of how he handled the lead up and the confirmation, if I could leave 0 stars based on his performance on the night, I would of👎🏼 More...

Thanks for the feedback Amelia. I’m sorry that things did not go as you had hoped. However, I’m disappointed to read that some comments in the review are unfair. It’s true that I was having trouble with my laptop which meant I could not meet all requests, but I believe I managed the best I could under the circumstances with the music library that I had. It’s not at all true that I kept disappearing to the toilet and my car in the lead up to the main party. I did speak with you several times in the lead up to the main party starting and I was under the impression that I was doing everything that was required of me. I would have liked communication to be better so I knew what was expected of me. On the night I had all of the requested songs that we agreed on before the night of the party including the 2 family classics that you talk about here. Once again I’m sorry that the night did not go as planned. Graham.
