Mrs. Krishnan taught my son from November 2024 for one year English comprehension, creative writing and maths.
My son was year 5 at that time when started Mrs Krishnan’s tutoring and he was not confident in English, especially creative writing.
He even didn’t like to hold a pencil..
After 1 year, he has passed all the schools of Sutton 11+ Exam Test (SET), and just finished the 2nd test for Tiffin Boys.
I have full confidence in her and I have already booked Mrs Krishnan’s tutoring for my 2nd boy starting in 2026.
Mrs Krishnan is excellent in many aspects especially 1) she knows how to handle children of Year 5-6, and 2) she works with parents with her extensive knowledge and advise backed by her experience in teaching and leading children (& parents) for 11+ exam.
She was a main class teacher of year 5 and 6 in a well-regarded school. She knows what their standard learning levels are and the tendency of their behaviour as well as how the children feel throughout the exam preparation period. She knows how to talk to my son depending on his condition and adjusts flexibly including the amount of work. She knows how to handle Year 5 boy and explains tenaciously until my son understands. She even knows how he will improve his score through this exam preparation period and things went the way she predicted (I still don’t know how she did it).
As a parent who experienced the 11+ exam journey for the first time, she gave us sufficient time after each session to explain to us what to expect and what we can do support my son. All the questions raised by us were answered and our (unfounded and well-founded) concerns were solved with Mrs Krishnan’s advice backed by her rich experience in this field.
To be fair, we would not be able to do any better without Mrs Krishnan’s guidance to my son and us as parents. I totally recommend anyone who look for a trusted tutoring teacher.

Seeing my students become more confident and comfortable with their abilities. As an educator, I have always believed that faith in ones abilities are key to accessing tougher material.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start tutoring because of my interest in engaging with pupils on a 1-on-1 basis. This way I can achieve tangible results in less time.
