Amazing service, i can't recommend them enough. My boiler suddenly stopped working, I've contact them by email and got a response an hour later by email and WhatsApp to arrange a suitable time for me. Mustafa came to check what was the problem and in minutes told me what was needed a gave me a quote. Ordered the parts and after 3 days (waiting times for the parts) he was at my house sorting everything out. Good price aswell, high quality material, outstanding professionalism. We have used Mos several times for plumbing issues in our home. The first time we had a major leak which was from our upstairs bathroom into our dining room. He confirmed where the leak was and replaced the necessary parts to stop the leak and also ensured it wasn’t leaking anywhere else. This last issue was with two of our toilets one had a slow continuous leak and the other was constantly running. He came out quickly and resolved both issues immediately. He is extremely polite, always cleans up and is very fair and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have referred him to several other friends who have also been extremely satisfied. What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about this job is the variety and the people. No two days are the same — one morning I might be fixing a burst pipe in Colchester, and the next I'm installing a new hot water cylinder in Ipswich. But what really makes it worthwhile is the moment a customer's problem is solved and they can relax again, especially when it's an emergency and they've been stressed about it. Building long-term trust with customers across Essex and Suffolk, and knowing they'll call us again or recommend us to a friend, is genuinely the best part of running this business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always taken pride in doing a job properly, and after years of working in the trade, I wanted the freedom to run things my own way — with honest pricing, real accountability, and a focus on customer care rather than just getting in and out fast. Starting MOS Plumbing and Heating Services Ltd meant I could build a business around those values, serving Colchester, Ipswich, and the wider Essex and Suffolk area the way I'd want a tradesperson to treat my own home.

Plumbing and heating work is hands-on by nature, so most of our services need to be carried out in person. That said, we're happy to offer initial advice, troubleshooting guidance, or a rough quote over the phone or via message if you can describe the issue or send us a photo. For anything beyond basic advice, an in-person visit is needed to properly diagnose and fix the problem safely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
While the height of the pandemic has passed, we've kept some good habits from that period as standard practice: our engineers carry hand sanitiser, wear shoe covers when entering homes, and are happy to wear a mask on request. We're always considerate of any client who prefers extra precautions, just let us know when booking and we'll accommodate it
