Sue helped me to understand myself and my own thought patterns and to rationalise my feelings about myself and other people that I couldn’t previously fathom. Working with her has been nothing but a huge blessing to me and I’m incredibly grateful I found her when I did. More...

Working with Sue has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the very beginning, she created a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where I felt comfortable being completely honest. Her insight, empathy, and professionalism have helped me navigate difficult challenges and develop a much healthier perspective on myself and my life. The positive changes I’ve experienced are difficult to put into words. I’m deeply grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring therapist. Over the past two years, working with Sue has had a profound impact on my life. From the very beginning, she created a space where I felt completely safe, heard, and understood. No matter what I bring to our sessions- whether it’s something difficult, painful, or complicated - I know I will be met with compassion, respect, and without judgement. One of Sue’s greatest strengths is her ability to help me see situations from a different perspective. Time and time again, she has gently challenged my thinking and helped me understand myself more deeply. Even after the hardest sessions, I leave feeling lighter, clearer, and better equipped to navigate whatever I am facing.Perhaps the greatest gift Sue has given me is helping me to recognise my own strength. Through our work together, I have come to understand that I have already survived and overcome so much, and that I am capable of handling far more than I ever gave myself credit for. She has helped me see that there is nothing “wrong” with me - that the qualities I once viewed as weaknesses, such as my sensitivity and empathy, are simply part of who I am and something to be valued rather than criticised. She has helped me believe that I am worthy of love, acceptance, and kindness, including from myself.I’ve worked with therapists before, but none have connected with me or supported me in the way Sue has. She has an incredible ability to truly see the person sitting in front of her and make them feel valued. Through our work together, I have noticed significant positive changes in my confidence, self-awareness, resilience, and the way I approach life’s challenges.Sue’s dedication, empathy, insight, and professionalism make her exceptional at what she does. I am incredibly grateful for the support she has given me, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of recognition. The difference she has made in my life is immeasurable, and I know I am not the only person whose life she has changed for the better. More...

After a frightening experience on a flight, I became extremely anxious about flying again and wasn't sure I would ever feel comfortable getting on a plane. Sue helped me work through the fear, process what had happened, and build confidence for future travel. Two months later I successfully took another flight and managed the journey far better than I ever expected. I felt supported throughout the process and would highly recommend Sue to anyone struggling with a fear of flying. Thank you More...

I went to Sue for hypnotherapy to help me stop smoking, and from the very first session I knew I was in the right hands. She immediately put my mind at ease with her calm, reassuring manner and clear explanations of how the process would work. I had a lot of doubts and nerves going in, but Sue was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all my questions so I felt fully prepared. What really stood out to me was how passionate and committed she is about helping her clients succeed. She made herself available to me at all times, so I never felt alone or unsure during the process. Sue didn’t just carry out the hypnotherapy — she also gave me a set of practical tools, coping strategies, and techniques that I could use in my day-to-day life to make the journey smoother. Her approach felt very personal, tailored to me and my needs, rather than a “one size fits all.” That level of care made the whole experience so much more effective and meaningful. Thanks to Sue, I feel like I’ve been given not just the support to quit smoking, but the strength and mindset to make it a lasting change. She is professional, understanding, and genuinely cares about the success of the people she works with. I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone who is ready to make a positive change in their life. More...

I have been seeing Sue to deal with a number of issues following the sudden death of a close member of my family which had left me overwhelmed, stressed and unable fully support those around me, this situation also led me to overeat.

Sue immediately put her finger on what was happening to me and was able to help me over a few sessions with a combination of counselling, tapping and hypnotherapy.

Thanks to Sue, my mind is now clearer and calmer and I am able to help those around me and also look after myself better which includes eating more healthily.

Sue is a very approachable, warm, kind and understanding person who I can highly recommend, thanks to her I am in a much better place.

Therapist

Sue is great! I initially went to her to help with navigating a few changes in my life and wasn't in the best place mentally.

Sue is compassionate, a great listener and very patient, she has allowed me the space to talk and process my problems while being a great sounding board. I am now able to be fully present in my relationships and experiences, without worrying about the future or the past. She has helped me to gain strength and self-knowledge to the extent that I am feeling far more confident of being able to cope with various life issues.

Thank you Sue!

Couples Counselling

Having had a fair bit of psychotherapy individually, my husband and I were in need of support tackling some persistent intimacy problems. Sue provided a brilliant space for us to do this, acting as the neutral third party when we got stuck and picking out the important threads that we needed to talk about more. She showed humour, empathy and generosity. We would happily recommend her to any couple needing some support. More...

I went to see Sue because I had some issues that were holding me back in my work.
She helped me from our very first session to reduce my feelings of anxiety and start to tackle my imposter syndrome. I have made massive steps in being much more confident at work and I felt a huge difference after just one session! Even my partner commented on how much calmer and in control I seem!

Sue is so kind and understanding and really put me at ease from the very moment we met - I can’t thank her enough.
I would recommend anyone go and see her and have already sent some friends her way!

We saw Sue for 6 weeks of Couples and Relationship Counselling after going through a tricky time. We had forgotten how to communicate effectively and were taking each other for granted. There was a lack of care and understanding in our relationship. Sue has helped us address those challenging areas by talking to each other about our needs. She has gently guided us to realise that we have the skills and tools needed to effectively manage our relationship in a positive and thoughtful way. By addressing our issues and talking openly with Sue as our expert guide we now feel empowered to engage with conflict resolution using effective and positive communication. She has helped us rediscover our desire to maintain and create more mutually beneficial intimacy in our relationship. We thoroughly recommend Sue for couples who’ve lost their way... She has helped us find our path back and given us the confidence to know we can help ourselves moving forward. More...

I wouldn’t really normally write a review when it comes to my anxiety and headspace but I felt like I absolutely had to as sue helped me so much! I suffer with GAD generalised anxiety disorder and never thought that it would change. I met sue and instantly she made me feel comfortable and calm. We went through different techniques and got to root of why! I have never ever been so free from anxiety and I’ve tried everything. I couldn’t believe how well it worked that I then moved onto hypnosis to stop my smoking that was severe habit that was attached to my anxiety. After loosing my dad to lung cancer I was desperate to try anything with an open mind. I had only 3 sessions and I never smoked again. Still shell shocked that it worked so well. My life has completely changed and now nothing holds me back. I’ve recommended her to other people that also have anxiety and they have also been shocked how well it’s worked. This was life changing for me so I would highly recommend. It all just seemed so easy. Thank you so much ! More...

Q&As

Meeting and working with Clients to make positive changes to their lives as quickly as possible.

After years of working for others, I realised that running my own business would give me greater flexibility and allow me to tailor my services and approach to truly meet the unique needs of the clients I serve.
I'm driven by the desire to empower people, solve their important problems, and help them achieve their goals. Starting my own business allows me to focus on this mission in a way that simply wasn't possible before.

When you work with me, you're choosing a trusted Therapist who will go above and beyond to help you reach your objectives.
I do this by offering a unique combination of expertise, personalised service, and genuine commitment to your success.

Yes I can provide services online or remotely . This is normally delivered via Zoom platform.
However, for Initial Consultations I also use telephone calls and WhatsApp.

Services

Living with a fear or phobia can have a much greater impact on your life than many people realise. You may find yourself avoiding certain places, situations or activities, feeling embarrassed by your reactions or frustrated that fear is limiting your confidence and independence.

I provide a calm, supportive and personalised approach to overcoming fears and phobias. Treatment is adapted to your individual circumstances, combining clinical hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and other evidence-based approaches where appropriate to help reduce anxiety, change unhelpful patterns and build lasting confidence.

I regularly support clients with fears including flying, driving, needles, medical procedures, dentists, public speaking, vomiting (emetophobia), spiders, enclosed spaces and health-related anxiety.

Many people are surprised by how quickly positive change can begin once they understand how fear works and learn how to respond differently. My aim is to help you feel calmer, more confident and free to enjoy life without fear controlling your choices.

I do not use aversion or exposure therapy. Find out more @ https://moore2therapy.com/phobias-and-fears-therapy

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of happiness in our lives, but they can also become one of our biggest challenges. Communication may have broken down, trust may have been damaged, intimacy may have faded, or you may simply feel you've grown apart. Sometimes the same arguments repeat over and over, leaving both partners feeling unheard, frustrated or disconnected.

I provide a balanced, welcoming and non-judgemental environment where both partners can feel heard and understood. My role is not to take sides or decide who is right or wrong, but to help you understand the patterns that have developed within your relationship and support you in finding healthier ways to communicate, reconnect and move forward together.

I work with couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, trust issues, betrayal, intimacy concerns, parenting pressures, life transitions and the unique dynamics that can arise within neurodivergent relationships.

Many couples come to therapy believing their relationship has reached the end. Often, they leave with a much deeper understanding of one another, new ways of communicating and renewed hope for the future.

Anxiety can affect every part of your life, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and unable to switch off. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, expecting the worst, struggling with panic attacks, feeling on edge or noticing physical symptoms such as a racing heart, tight chest or difficulty relaxing. Living with ongoing stress and anxiety can also affect your sleep, confidence, work, relationships and overall wellbeing.

I provide a compassionate, collaborative and non-judgemental space where we work together to understand what is driving your anxiety rather than simply trying to manage the symptoms. Every treatment plan is personalised, combining psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy and other evidence-based approaches where appropriate.

Together we will help regulate your nervous system, develop healthier coping strategies, build emotional resilience and restore your confidence so that anxiety no longer controls your life.

Many clients tell me they wish they had sought support sooner. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it is often the beginning of feeling calmer, more confident and more in control again.

Trauma can affect far more than memories. It can leave you feeling constantly on edge, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or others, struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, intrusive memories, nightmares or a persistent feeling that you're never truly safe. Sometimes trauma follows a single distressing event, while for others it develops gradually through repeated experiences over many years.

I provide a compassionate, trauma-informed approach where we work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you understand how trauma has affected your mind, body and nervous system while gently processing difficult experiences without becoming overwhelmed.

Therapy is carefully adapted to your individual needs and may integrate psychotherapy, EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy and other evidence-based approaches where appropriate. My aim is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help you regain a sense of safety, rebuild confidence, strengthen emotional resilience and reconnect with the life you want to live.

Recovery is possible. Many clients tell me they arrive feeling trapped by the past and leave with a greater understanding of themselves, renewed hope and the confidence to move forward.

Anger is a normal and healthy human emotion, but when it begins to feel overwhelming or difficult to control it can affect relationships, work, physical health and emotional wellbeing. Many people find that beneath their anger lie other emotions such as anxiety, stress, trauma, frustration, hurt or fear.

Rather than simply focusing on controlling angry outbursts, I help clients understand what is driving their anger and identify the triggers, thoughts and emotional patterns that keep it going. Together we develop healthier ways of responding, improving communication, emotional regulation and self-awareness.

Therapy is personalised to your individual needs and may draw upon psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, CBT, inner child work, assertiveness training and other evidence-based approaches where appropriate.

The goal is not to stop feeling angry, but to help you respond to difficult situations with greater calm, confidence and control, improving both your relationships and your overall quality of life.

Many people are curious about hypnotherapy but aren't quite sure what to expect. Clinical hypnotherapy is a safe, evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps create positive and lasting change while you remain relaxed, focused and in control throughout the session.

I integrate clinical hypnotherapy with psychotherapy and other evidence-based approaches where appropriate, creating a personalised treatment plan designed around your goals rather than relying on hypnosis alone.

Clinical hypnotherapy can be highly effective in supporting anxiety, stress, panic attacks, phobias, trauma, confidence, intrusive thoughts, habits and emotional wellbeing. My aim is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help you understand the underlying causes of your difficulties while building lasting resilience and confidence.

If you'd like to understand more about how clinical hypnotherapy works, including the facts behind common myths and misconceptions, please visit my website where I've created a detailed guide answering the questions people ask most often.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, low self-esteem or simply feeling stuck without fully understanding why. Therapy offers a safe, supportive and confidential space to explore what's happening, gain new insights and create lasting positive change.

With over 18 years' experience, I believe there is no "one size fits all" approach. Every person is unique, so I personalise therapy to your individual needs, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches where appropriate. My aim is not only to help you manage today's challenges but also to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, enabling you to build greater resilience, confidence and emotional wellbeing for the future.

Many clients tell me they leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer and more hopeful than when they arrived. Together we work at a pace that feels right for you, creating meaningful change that extends far beyond the therapy room.

As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I embrace the unique strengths and perspectives of neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing sensitivities, and learning differences. My approach moves beyond traditional models, recognizing neurodivergence as a natural variation of human experience rather than a deficit. Holding a SEND Qualification and an enhanced DBS check. I offer a safe and informed therapeutic space. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their individual sensory experiences, communication styles, and cognitive profiles, tailoring therapy to their specific needs and goals. My aim is to create a validating environment where neurodivergent individuals feel understood, valued and empowered to build on their strengths while navigating life's challenges in ways that work for them.

I am a qualified and compassionate child counsellor offering a safe, supportive space where children can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, behavioural challenges, family changes, and school-related difficulties. I am a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, meaning I embrace and support the unique ways children experience and interact with the world, including those with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent profiles. I hold a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) qualification and hold a current enhanced DBS check. Every child is unique, so I tailor therapy to their age, personality and individual needs. Using creative, engaging and age-appropriate approaches, I help children feel safe, understood and empowered while working closely with parents and carers to support progress both in and beyond the therapy room.
