We are first time home owners, and we cannot praise Steve from Maple Interiors enough. We had our kitchen renovated, and had some trouble with the electrics, along with the Wren delivery. Steve was absolutely brilliant with helping us order the correct parts, and advising with the electrics.

Steve communication with us was fantastic, keeping us informed and updated throughout. We couldn’t be happier with the final result.

I hired Maple Interiors through Bark for a fixed-price quote of £750 to complete my bathroom cladding and kitchen work. We agreed on a fixed total price for the job, with no mention of any daily labor rates.
Here is what went wrong:
Surprise Price Increase: After completing 3 days of work without raising any issues about extra costs, he sent an invoice demanding £1,000 (£350 extra for an un-agreed extra day of labor). He never mentioned any additional charges before doing the work.
Refused Included Work: He backed out of connecting the gas hob after agreeing to the job, forcing me to pay £140 out of my own pocket to hire a Gas Safe engineer.
Unfinished Work & Rushed Finish: He rushed through the job and left the bathroom ceiling L-trims unfinished.
Be extremely cautious if you hire him. He quotes a lower fixed price to win the job, and then inflates the bill at the end by claiming extra day rates. A fixed price should mean a fixed price regardless of how many days it takes. More...

What a pack of lies . The only part that is true is the original quote amount. You didn’t mention that the panelling wasn’t long enough to fit the walls . Nor did you mention cladding the windows and toilet unit . You also added fitting a new shower , toilet cistern , door and draw . The list goes on ! I kept you fully informed at every step . Why would i do a whole days work for nothing! You said nothing but still paid my invoice in full . thanks

We booked Steve to fit a new bath for us. He was so friendly and professional. The job was done to a great standard. Went above and beyond for us. Would 100% recommend.

Steve did a great job with my kitchen. The room has been completely transformed after switching a window and door opening to create a much bigger L kitchen. Like any old house, no wall was straight and no corner square but Steve calmly took it all in his stride and the finish is excellent.

His guidance was extremely valuable and his patience while I (very) gradually decided on plans was also much appreciated! More...

Steve recently completed a kitchen and bathroom revamp on my rental property, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Steve was fantastic when he fitted our new kitchen. It was an extensive refit, with a wall being knocked down and a hatch closed over. He was professional and meticulous throughout, and gave us some great advice about suitable sinks etc. He was very calm when problems arose with the water supply (due to the house not him), and found creative solutions to all problems. Lesser professionals would have walked away leaving us with the problem, so we are very grateful for his years of experience and can do attitude. Steve is a fantastic bloke. Fitted our worktops with little notice. He even did a few end pieces that needed doing. Fitted the sink while he was there. Would definitely use again.
