I worked with Rebecca in 2021 to remodel my bathroom, entry way, back garden patio, mezzanine loft area, bedroom and built in wardrobe, put in new floors and build a new laundry room. It was a lot. She did design work, sourced contractors, project managed everything, sourced materials and made suggestions, as well as provided discounts on items with her relationships. Not only was the end result beautiful and high quality, but it was a joy working with her. She was incredibly responsive and helped with an incredibly stressful situation. For anyone doing renovation work, you know how messy and challenging this can be. Add to this being a first time home owner, a global pandemic, living alone not in your home country, and working full time in a demanding job. Rebecca designed bespoke furniture for our kids bedroom including a bunk bed with a wardrobe. Rebecca listened to our needs and took time to understand how we live in the space, which resulted in a beautiful furniture, which not only looks great, but is also very functional and maximises the space. I employed Make My House Home for my Office in Farringdon - We needed a Kitchen installed / a wall taken down/meeting room created/a mini kitchen down stairs/ a shower room and some TLC on our dingy bathrooms.
It was a big job with a tight turn around before Christmas - In a matter of weeks we had worked together on the design, Rebecca had thought though our branding and incorporated our internal look into a modern look that flowed through the office. She has an amazing eye for look and feel of spaces.

We were looking for someone to have full reign in decorating our newly bought house due to the arrival of our baby. Rebecca really took our ideas on board and came up with an incredible mood board that perfectly fit our taste!
She has a reliable decorating team along with trustworthy suppliers and has good links with carpenters and furnishing companies.
Communication and updates were consistent and everything was carried out in a timely manner.

What’s your interior design process?
Every project follows three stages: Vision, Curation, and Deliver.
Vision starts with an in-depth questionnaire, followed by a full concept document, photorealistic renders and scaled floor plans, so you can see your home before anything is decided.
Curation is where I source everything, presented through a private portal with two to three options per item. Enough choice, not too much.
Deliver is where it comes to life. I manage the ordering, the trades, and the whole process so you don't have to.
For whole-home renovations, all three stages combine into a single Full Service with one point of contact throughout.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I don't work to a signature style, I work to yours. Every home I design is built around the people living in it, because no two families are the same and neither should their homes be. My job is to understand how you live and translate that into a space that feels completely, unmistakably yours.
What do you love most about your job?
That moment when someone finally understands what their home could be and realises it's been about them all along. Helping people connect to their homes in a way that feels genuinely theirs is why I do this.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A friend was renovating her first flat and completely stuck, she couldn't visualise the space, couldn't choose a colour, didn't know where to start. I helped her find exactly what she needed, even when she didn't know what that was herself. At the end she turned to me and said "you should do this for a living." So I did.
Entrepreneurship was already in my blood, I come from a family of business owners, but it was that moment that made it real. I started Make My House Home because I knew there were so many people out there in exactly the same position as my friend, who just needed someone to help them see what their home could be.

ost designers will tell you they listen. What I do differently is take the time to genuinely understand who you are before I design anything, how you live, what your days actually look like, what matters to your family and what doesn't. That psychology sits behind every decision I make.
The result isn't a scheme that photographs well. It's a home that works for your life, reflects your personality, and feels right the moment you walk in.
I believe good design is for everyone. That means thinking seriously about function — how a space flows, how it adapts as your life changes, how it supports the people living in it. Aesthetics follow from that, not the other way around.
Every project includes photorealistic renders as standard, a considered sustainable approach to sourcing, and a process built around making the whole experience as clear and stress-free as possible.

Yes, the majority of the process can be completed remotely. Concept development, renders, floor plans, curation and sourcing are all handled digitally through our client portal, so distance is rarely a barrier.
That said, I do ask to visit in person at least once, ideally at the start of the project. To design a home that truly works for you, I need to see and feel the space myself. That one visit makes everything that follows far more considered and accurate.

You know you want to change something, but you're not sure where to start or what would actually work. This stage gives you total clarity. It begins with an in-depth questionnaire so I can understand how you live, what you love, and what isn't working. Once the vision is set, I source everything for you. Every item is researched and presented through a private online portal, with two to three carefully chosen options per piece, so you're making real decisions, not drowning in choice. No hours lost on Pinterest or second-guessing yourself.

This is where it all comes together. I manage the ordering, coordinate the trades, and oversee the project so you don't have to. You get on with your life while your home gets transformed.
