Q&As

What I love most about wellbeing support is being able to help people when they need kindness, understanding and someone who will truly listen.

For me, it is very meaningful to create a safe space where a person can feel heard, respected and not judged. I love seeing someone slowly feel more comfortable, more confident and less alone.
Even small moments matter — a smile, a calmer voice, or someone saying they feel a little better after talking. That is what makes this work special to me.
I care about people, and I feel grateful when I can bring a little light, comfort and support into someone’s life.

What inspired me to start my own business was my wish to help people in a more personal and meaningful way.
I have always cared deeply about people and their wellbeing. Through my experience in care and my counselling studies, I realised how important it is for people to feel listened to, respected and supported — not rushed, judged or forgotten.
I wanted to create a service where kindness, patience and understanding come first. A place where each person is treated as an individual, with their own story, feelings and needs.
Starting Lumina Wellbeing Support felt like a natural step for me, because I wanted to bring together practical care, emotional support and genuine human connection.
My inspiration is simple: to bring a little light, comfort and confidence into people’s lives when they need it most.

Clients should choose me because I truly care about people and I always try to support them with kindness, patience and respect.

I understand that asking for help is not always easy, so I do my best to make people feel comfortable, safe and not judged. I listen carefully, I take time to understand each person’s needs, and I support them at their own pace.

My background in care has taught me how important dignity, trust and compassion are. My life experiences, trainings, and knowledge helps me offer emotional support in a calm and understanding way.

I may not have all the answers, but I care deeply, I listen with my heart, and I am committed to helping each person feel valued, supported and less alone.

At Lumina Wellbeing Support, clients are not just receiving a service — they are treated as people, with respect, warmth and genuine care.

Yes, I can provide my services online or remotely.
Lumina Wellbeing Support offers online help for clients who may prefer to speak from the comfort of their own home, or who find it difficult to travel. Sessions can be arranged by video call or phone call, depending on what feels most comfortable for the client.
Online support can be a gentle and convenient way to receive emotional care, guidance and reassurance in a safe and private space. I aim to make each session calm, respectful and easy to access, so clients feel listened to and supported wherever they are.
Appointments can be arranged at a suitable time, and each session is treated with care, confidentiality and understanding.

Please note:
My service offers emotional wellbeing support, reflective listening, and personal support sessions. It is not a crisis service and does not replace counselling, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment. If you are experiencing severe mental health difficulties or are at risk of harming yourself or others, please contact your GP, NHS 111, Samaritans, or emergency services.
