I would highly recommend these tutors my daughter went last year after failing her maths prelim. We didn’t have a lot of time to turn it round only about 8 weeks but with the support and help here she ended up with a B in Nat 5 maths They Really helped her to achieve this. Really friendly and welcoming too

My daughter has blossomed since she started. She is very eager to do her work and seems very motivated which is the exact opposite to her feelings about school work in general. She works independently and is always keen to return to demonstrate her work to her teacher. I'm so impressed by the change overall and feel it's been worth every penny we have paid. This is so odd - my comment on one of your posts keeps “disappearing”. No matter how many times I paste it in again it goes! Very poor computer platform - any problems are always blamed on franchisees or students equipment etc As previous reviews have mentioned, all they are interested in is making large amounts of money from parents and franchisees alike, by cramming in the maximum amount of students. Education is not their priority, performance criteria is just based on numbers alone, not on the standard of tuition delivered. I also know that a large number of these reviews are not genuine - obviously many companies do this, but I would've hoped for a bit more honesty from those in education... More...

Today has been the last session for my son with Naz and Ian at Sheffield Handsworth after a couple of years working with my son the progress he has made is amazing to see. He started off being unable to read and write realising he has dyslexia his writing was unreadable back to front and as for reading he just refused and got frustrated and he was so far behind for his age. Now a year 6 and just got his SAT results and he has got amazing scores never let them stress him and just gave it all his best shot and now he's set for secondary school. If it wasn't for kip mcgrath he wouldn't be where he's is now settled calm and confident and believes in himself it's amazing to see can't thank Naz and Ian enough 100% recommend 100% worth every penny More...

My son attended the Wigan branch for the past school year, he has ADHD and at the end of year 5 was behind for maths and reading this year at the end of year 6 he passed his SATS something i never though would be achievable, this would have never happen without the help from Kip McGrath. Thank you

Absolutely fantastic centre. Naz from Sheffield East has transformed my son from a shy self doubting child who hated maths, to someone who now gives everything a go and has come on leaps and bounds! He’s taking his SATS soon and the nerves are starting to kick in, but he’s literally doubled his scores since going to Kip. I’m so greatful for all the support and love he’s shown while there. My daughter was with Kip two and half years , At the start it was really good she got so much help her tutor was so lovely couldn’t have asked for a better tutor but Kip kept adding more kids to her session my daughter was lucky to get 10-15 mins out the hour also had a lot of trouble getting logged on missing time on the sessions ,I emailed them last-night to raise my concerns and explain my child’s needs which they know about the reply was shocking basely if your not happy pay £68 a lesson for your child to have more time or just leave then ,it’s all about money they do not have the child’s best interest at heart at all . I emailed them back my daughter notice ,my daughter was due on her lesson lastnight and again tutor couldn’t get on kept kicking her out so my daughter did not get her lesson I will not receive a refund you never do they will say the session will be sent as homework . After a lesson where out of 1 hour my daughter only got less than 6 minutes of attention which left her completely demoralised we complained and requested a refund. My son was diagnosed with ADHD, autism aswell as other things when he was 14. He missed a lot of school. Failed by mainstream, he’d fallen hugely behind his piers. Since he’s attended here for both English and maths he’s come on leaps and bounds. They are supportive, understanding of his needs, working with his strengths and weaknesses, they don’t jump ahead of the curriculum if he hasn’t quite got it and have been of huge support of his achievements. Please improve the communication. I was looking for 1-2-1 sessions from the very beginning and was very clear to that. My daughter had few sessions as requested and then more children were during the same session. I am very dissapointed as no one informed me or not even included in the contract that these are a group sessions. The tutor put her on mute very often to do her work and whenever she pressed the help button, it was rejected by the tutor. I never received any report - since Sept- showing her improvement. Improve communication with the families. Felt disappointed when the manager and teachers talking only with who they like,was completely ignored a few times. Felt a bit discriminated. Provide resources to the families to help them child.Wasn't able to trac my child's progress to check which topic he need to support. The learning app very simple, needs to improve. Mostly apset me bad communication with me and my husband. Once I asked about my child homework, because wasn't given any,the teacher very surprised why I did ask that.The virtual lesson was completely disaster, the teacher always put her microphone on the mute and less time which we wasn't informed about it. I don’t often post reviews but I have been left very disappointed with the ethics of Kip’s head office. We have been using Kip McGrath over the past few years and found it to support my daughters learning. Unfortunately the franchisee was unable to keep the premises over the past few months and has been unable to source a new one in these exceptional circumstances. She will now be unable to continue teaching online until she could secure a new site due to the Kip rules. I am disappointed that the tutors will now find themselves without employment in these difficult times - and no flexibility has been allowed to help them support the children’s learning in what has been a strange time for most.
