I own flats at a block managed by JSG. We had a freeholder who has done nothing at the building for years. As soon as we got JSG on board I have been very impressed with how quickly they have been able to improve things.

Jeet has been very involved with our block to fix fire safety problems. He found that the freeholder had charged all owners thousands of pounds for repairs to fire doors which were incorrectly done. Jeet challenged the freeholder over many months, got reports from fire safety experts, and won the claim. He managed to get £3,500 back from the freeholder. Brilliant result.

An awful company that provides very little service to its clients, totally unprofessional, the communication from JSG Block Management Ltd is pretty much non-existent. This company does not respond to emails, will say that they are going to do something, it never rarely materialises. Very good property management company. All residents in our block feel JSG act with alot of integrity. Not something that can be said of all management companies, so we're happy to be working with JSG.

Poor. Unprofessional. Raj and Jeet Ignores most correspondence and phone calls. Building insurance not being paid despite 7-8months in. Service charge not being sent out despite 9-10months past April!!! Payments arrears of leaseholders not being chased. Sometimes no one replies for a month despite multiple emails / phonecalls. They are no longer ARMA associates. The "property redress scheme" seem to be familiar with Raj and Jeet- so clearly we are not the people having problems....Stay away! You're warned More...

We began working with JSG a year ago and we are very happy with our choice. They work diligently and have always represented the interests of the leaseholders. Jeets understanding of the ins and outs of leasehold problems and fire safety in particular has been a huge comfort for us. This is by far the worst and most unprofessional managing agent I have ever seen.
He did nothing for a whole year, keeping making promises that he never attended.
He was unreachable most of the time, and blatantly ignored our numerous requests for updates.
When we finally got rid of him we found out that our block had been unmanaged for months.
There were unpaid bills, maintenance contract were not renewed, major works were delayed by months because of him and many other issues.
He tried to got credit for things that he never did and kept coming up with excuses that sounded pretty much like "I am sorry I missed the deadline because the dog ate my homework".
But he still fought to take his fee entirely.
How ridiculous. I wonder how people can have so little self respect. More...

My experience started well and I was confident in the strategy Jeet set out to deal with the issues in my building (all of which I was very upfront about before he took the property on), He is clearly experienced and knows what he is talking about. From meeting him for his only site visit in eight months, he appeared to be very personable.

The execution of the work is where things unravelled. Jeet quickly became almost impossible to contact, deadlines passed again and again and weeks went by with no contact, no acknowledgment and rarely an apology. Emails, texts and calls went unanswered to the point that at one stage I was concerned I had fallen victim to a scam. Jeet’s voicemail is often full and the office phone was often not answered leaving me on hold listening to recorded messages about the high levels of service JSG provides.

The first time I complained about the poor service, Jeet explained that this was owing to the rapid growth of the business and a need for him to prioritise his portfolio while he recruited more staff. He assured me he would give my property his full attention going forward. At no stage did this happen. He later told me small buildings like mine were too time-consuming. I felt this to be ironic given the lack of progress and work carried out.

Delays to work carried out on behalf of a neighbour have become so serious they are jeopardising her property sale. The experience has been extremely stressful and frankly baffling - particularly in light of the apparently positive experience of others which could not be more different from my own. I would not recommend dealing with the company unless you have the patience of a saint and the time and energy to chase them all day long as if it were your full time job. More...
