We recently had the absolute pleasure of having John cook for 10 of us at home. Wow, what can I say…..the food was absolutely incredible and John was great to deal with, both in preparing the menu and then cooking in front of my wife and I and our guests.

We had scallops and lardons to start, then beef wellington with truffle pommes puree with bordelaise sauce, and finished with cream brûlée with a ginger snap. It was as delicious as it sounds.

Jazz worked alongside John and did a great job serving canapés, drinks, food and then discreetly clearing away and leaving the kitchen spotless.

I cannot recommend John enough, and really hope we are lucky enough to have him cook for us again in the future. More...

I have worked with John in two contexts: he was my cookery teacher, and his company has catered in my home. What stands out about him (well, many wonderful things), but what’s particularly noteworthy — his repertoire is huge. He can do a lovely middle eastern dinner, and he can do a vegan feast (or a middle eastern vegan feast). He could also do a traditional English roast or a Thai luncheon, a delicious outdoor barbecue, or Indian canapés. He can likely do anything you want and do it exceptionally well. He’s also kind and funny and easy to work with. His team was wonderfully professional and left my kitchen spotless. They, too, were warm and kind and excellent w everything. John catered for our party of 13 at extremely short notice when our first booking fell through. He was fantastic.... he kept to the original menu choices which made our lives so much easier, was friendly, organised and an absolute pleasure to meet. He had a lady with him, sorry don't know her name who served us, cleated the table and got fully involved taking photos etc. They cleaned up the kitchen including the oven, meaning we literally had nothing to do. It really was like being in a 5* restaurant without other annoying customers. I would highly recommend Chef John for your catering needs.

John is a great chef giving training on many meat products - especially on how to de-bone a whole chicken. The beef was melt-in-the-mouth beautiful, chicken liver pate really top notch and duck a’la orange totally sumptuous!! Then we ate 8 different things !

OMG what an amazing company,
They caterered my husbands memorial celebration, they were so helpful.
The food was delicious, I could not fault anything, everyone commented on how great it was.
John and his team of Sue,Tracy and Jola stay all afternoon and made the drink for all the guest as required and left the kitchen spotless. Absolute 10 star service. Nothing was to much trouble.

Johns catering company is a must for any occasion plenty of choice and supports people with any food allergies and dislikes unfortunatley i live a long way from milton keynes but i would highley recommend him
