The service from this company was first class. The gentleman who came to survey the damp wall told us exactly what was wrong and how it would be treated. We were very confident in his assessment and having confirmed that we would like to go ahead with the work the company arranged for the plastering etc. to be done within days. We had 2 workmen here for 2 days and they were exceptionally clean clean, covering all carpets and furniture and leaving the house in excellent order. They were very friendly and hard working men. Amazing all-round experience, from being booked in very quickly after posting the job on Checkatrade, to the detailed quote, then having the work started ASAP. Had my front room done had rising damp Josh and josh and another came out did the workin a day then the plaster came Brad was there 2 days all the work was carried out perfectly couldn't fault any off the work was ckean and tidy even hoovered up aftet themselves also Josh painted my outside walls to with secoflex great company i have got my certificate of guarantees for the raising damp and outside wall would recommend them 100%

Brilliant service throughout.We initially contacted them for a quote following a Homebuyers Report and, despite some issues with the viewing of the property (due to the previous owners, not themselves), they gave me a very reasonable quote. Without being pushy, they kept in contact for updates regarding the move to book in the work but were conscientious and patient given we were going through a rough time with our daughter being in intensive care.Every member of staff I spoke to was lovely, explaining clearly what needed to be done.The work itself was carried out quickly and efficiently, even amending the quote when they realised there was a section on which the work couldn't be completed. My whole experience with Home & Dry Solutions from start to finish has been brilliant 👌Communication has been great all the way through. When arrangements have been made, they have all happened on the date and time they have been planned for. When Dave came to look initially he was quick to identify the cause of the problem. Karen advised on the job and put real thought into how it would be completed as it wasn't just a straight forward job! I couldn't recommend this company enough. After contacting the company, we were quickly allotted a surveyor who came out a few days later. Peter was superb. Hugely knowledgeable, he quickly ascertained that the damp we had was penetrative and not rising [cue relief]. He recommended a clear course of action and even went on to give me further advice later that day via WhatsApp. Brilliant. When it came to undertaking the works, the installation was painless, clean and quick - Ste was excellent - and the DMEV fans are already making a huge difference. I have recently used Home and Dry Solutions for a damp problem in my house. When I sent an inquiry it was answered immediately and followed up the next day by Courtney. An inspection visit was booked for the next day and Peter Arnold arrived to complete this. He was very professional and personable explaining as he inspected so that I was aware of his findings. I used this company as they were recommended to me by my son in law. They did a free survey of my rental property ( within a week) and advised me how I could resolve the mold and dampness issues within the property. Within a week of the survey they had installed the extractor fans required.They explained to the tenant how the devices would resolve the issue, and returned a week after installation to take readings proving the dampness has been resolved. We were in the last stages of our home renovation when we discovered rising damp in two internal walls of the ground floor. Due to being at a critical point we needed the damp proofing done quite quickly. Someone had recommended checkatrade so I put my job request on not really having much hope for a quick turnaround due to Christmas coming up. I got responses from a few companies but I was most inclined towards Home and Dry Solutions due to the tone of their initial message and their amazing reviews. Courtney was the first person I spoke to over messaging and I loved that she responded late in the evening (dedication) with a very positive 'we can definitely help you' message. Following on from that, the surveyor (Rob) came out two days later, at the time given, explained everything to me, did a survey of the ground floor walls and confirmed rising damp in the bottom halves of two internal walls. Rob gave me an immediate quote, and then did a video call and spoke to Karen at the office who was able to arrange for the work to be carried out on the next two working days. Karen then communicated with me via text message which was very helpful, and we got the deposit sorted. On the day the work was due to start, the workers came exactly on time and despite the awful weather they started immediately without any fuss. By 1pm(ish) the damp proofing was done, and ready for plastering. Their conduct and communication was also very good and they left everything super clean, taking all the rubbish with them. The following day, the plasterers arrived promptly and plastered the walls to a very high standard again leaving no mess behind. After that I got a follow up phone call from Alice to check how everything went. All in all, an absolutely fantastic and super service and experience. What I really loved about all the staff I spoke to was their truly down to earth and approachable manner. They were professional but not overly formal which is what I prefer. I'm a closet introvert and too much formality makes me nervous. The damp proofing was a bit expensive but because the work was excellent, and there was a super fast turnaround, it was money well spent. Otherwise I've had experiences with companies that are cheap and do rubbish work which then means getting someone else in to repair the mess. In summary, I can't fault them one bit. What can I say absolutely superb job very well done. Shaun and Josh did a splendid job of removing the old damp plaster tanking the wall and re-plastering. I expected a huge mess but they tidied up after themselves and everywhere was spotless when they’d finished. They even put carpet protection down on the stairs leading up to my 2nd floor flat.
