I have recently used Home and Dry Solutions for a damp problem in my house. When I sent an inquiry it was answered immediately and followed up the next day by Courtney. An inspection visit was booked for the next day and Peter Arnold arrived to complete this. He was very professional and personable explaining as he inspected so that I was aware of his findings. Sarah promptly organised for the electrician Steve to come at my convenience to fit the necessary fan. He did a great job, cleaning thoroughly after he had completed the work. Absolutely 1st class! Arch & Coops who arrived on Day 1 could not have worked any harderThey were an absolute credit, not only to themselves, but to the Company. They were hardworking, knowledgeable, polite & a pleasure to have working in our home.They left the room they were working in spotlessly clean and tidy & all ready for the plasterer when he came on the next working day! Brilliant Service! We were moving house and Home And Dry came out and did a damp servey for us and gave us a free quote! They stuck with us throughout a long time of waiting for the completion date! I used this company as they were recommended to me by my son in law. They did a free survey of my rental property ( within a week) and advised me how I could resolve the mold and dampness issues within the property. Within a week of the survey they had installed the extractor fans required.They explained to the tenant how the devices would resolve the issue, and returned a week after installation to take readings proving the dampness has been resolved. A can’t emphasise enough how good this company have been. They have gone above and beyond from start to finish of my project; even helping to solve issues out of their ‘job description’. We were in the last stages of our home renovation when we discovered rising damp in two internal walls of the ground floor. Due to being at a critical point we needed the damp proofing done quite quickly. Someone had recommended checkatrade so I put my job request on not really having much hope for a quick turnaround due to Christmas coming up. I got responses from a few companies but I was most inclined towards Home and Dry Solutions due to the tone of their initial message and their amazing reviews. Courtney was the first person I spoke to over messaging and I loved that she responded late in the evening (dedication) with a very positive 'we can definitely help you' message. Following on from that, the surveyor (Rob) came out two days later, at the time given, explained everything to me, did a survey of the ground floor walls and confirmed rising damp in the bottom halves of two internal walls. Rob gave me an immediate quote, and then did a video call and spoke to Karen at the office who was able to arrange for the work to be carried out on the next two working days. Karen then communicated with me via text message which was very helpful, and we got the deposit sorted. On the day the work was due to start, the workers came exactly on time and despite the awful weather they started immediately without any fuss. By 1pm(ish) the damp proofing was done, and ready for plastering. Their conduct and communication was also very good and they left everything super clean, taking all the rubbish with them. The following day, the plasterers arrived promptly and plastered the walls to a very high standard again leaving no mess behind. After that I got a follow up phone call from Alice to check how everything went. All in all, an absolutely fantastic and super service and experience. What I really loved about all the staff I spoke to was their truly down to earth and approachable manner. They were professional but not overly formal which is what I prefer. I'm a closet introvert and too much formality makes me nervous. The damp proofing was a bit expensive but because the work was excellent, and there was a super fast turnaround, it was money well spent. Otherwise I've had experiences with companies that are cheap and do rubbish work which then means getting someone else in to repair the mess. In summary, I can't fault them one bit. What can I say absolutely superb job very well done. Shaun and Josh did a splendid job of removing the old damp plaster tanking the wall and re-plastering. I expected a huge mess but they tidied up after themselves and everywhere was spotless when they’d finished. They even put carpet protection down on the stairs leading up to my 2nd floor flat. I cannot fault Home and Dry at all for the work completed in my house recently. Daisy and Karen provided excellent communication during the quoting process and keeping us updated with photos when work was being completed. Questions were answered quickly and when things went pear shaped unexpectedly (old house/dodgy wall problem!) Karen had done all the prep work and called with solutions to put my mind at ease. Booked in for damp work. Despite being a very tricky job under difficult circumstances, they got it done. Damp plaster stripped away and fitted in against a very exposed and wet wall. All done in a day!

We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and high standard of work delivered by Home and Dry Solutions. From the outset, their service was outstanding. They responded quickly to our enquiry and arranged a thorough inspection at short notice. Following the inspection, it was clear that a damp course was needed. We received a detailed estimate the same day, which was very competitively priced, and the work was promptly scheduled. Over the course of two days, the team worked efficiently and with great care to install the damp course to a very high standard. Excellent company, first class work. We had problems with damp on the chimney breast behind a log fire. They quickly identified the problem (condensation), rectified the cause, tanking on the chimney breast and an additional extractor fan, completed the work immediately and within a week. The workmen were clean and professional They even identified that the plasterer had made an error and had plasterboarded behind the fire when he should have used cement boards to comply with fire regs. Brilliant service , from start to end . We're quick to come out to see the property and give me a quote in person, even came back to answer questions in person before the start date of the work . Job has been done to a high standard , would highly recommend and I am using again for additional work I need completing on the house . Very personable and great customer service which gives them the edge along side how competitive their prices were .
