What an amazing experience. As a plus size bride I was a little hesitant as to whether or not the dress I eventually picked would work. Gracie made my vision become reality. After trying on so many dresses that weren't perfect, I messaged Gracie with a vision that I thought she would turn away. I found this beautiful hemp silk that she happened to have experience with and that's when I knew she was a genius. Gracie was an absolute pleasure to work with. I went to Gracie with a floor length dress to wear as a wedding guest. It was far too long and didn’t fit me across the chest, with certain parts gaping. It now fits me like a glove, and Gracie also suggested cleaning up the lines on the dress by removing the adjustable sliders on the thin shoulder straps, which has made it look ten times more expensive! Gracie worked wonders with my wedding dress that I bought to wear prior to the pandemic. I was worried when I uncovered the dress two years later to find an unsightly stain that had appeared. Gracie was an absolute dream come true. When I decided to alter my grandmas wedding dress from 1948 I was very apprehensive. I was not keen to take it to any old tailors as it’s such a valuable item. The first impression I got from Gracie was that she was warm and kind and it definitely wasn’t her first rodeo of wedding dress alterations! She was caring towards me even when I decided to break down crying from all the stress the wedding planning had caused me and assured me I would get the wedding dress of my dreams. Gracie can alter just about any dress to fit your size— even if you think the dress can never be altered to fit you! She made me feel comfortable just being me and having to strip off to try the dress on several times!
