Where to start? Fran, Taj and the entire team are truly incredible! I had 3 wedding dresses (I know!) made by them in a matter of months, to an incredible standard, with nothing but smiles throughout the process. My dresses were out of this world, with a train that barely fit in the studio. Nothing was too big an ask for Fran and her team. When I was stressed, I knew I could trust Fran to deliver. Fran even came on my wedding day to dress me in the morning, juggling her day around to accommodate me, as it was a last minute request. Fran & Taj came to the rescue as I struggled to make my dress that I bought online modest (I'm Muslim). I was close to returning my dress I bought elsewhere as I was giving up until I came across Fran & Taj. At the first consultation they showed me exactly how they could make the dress modest while still making me look beautiful. They also taught me how to walk slowly in my dress and also taught my mother and maid of honour how to hold my dress and help me to get into it. I came to Fran to alter my WED2B wedding dress and overskirt in late 2019. Fran advised it was too soon to have these altered for my May 2020 wedding, but was kind enough to offer a quote from the pictures I sent her. I visited Fran for the first time right before the first lockdown, and she was both professional and friendly, understanding everything I needed altered. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone several times, and Fran was incredibly accommodating, keeping them with her until our final date, and adapting to our schedule for the second and last fittings. I took my wedding dress, which was purchased at another boutique, to Francisca for alterations. Aside from shortening the hem, the dress needed major alterations to the bodice, bust and shoulders, which were delicate and heavily beaded. Her work was impeccable and she was a joy to work with. What inspired you to start your own business?
After I finished my degree in Fashion and my Masters in the LCF in London, I knew Bridal was where my heart belong. I then worked my way up starting at Pronovias , fitting and alltering wedding dresses and later on specialicing my pattern cutting technique I felt I was ready to go solo.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think every client should choose freely who is going to be the person that will help them find their dress or to go the extra mile to get their dresses to fit like a glove. We no only have plenty years of experiencie in the field and truly skilled workers but also we deeply care about our brides and We really enjoy such a special journey with them.
