I can not fault this Locksmith.His attention to detail,thoroughness,precision of work,great attitude and professionalism is exemplary. I would 100 percent recommend him.He was prompt on time he gave me for arrival and he did the job at in really decent time.(Which doesn't matter either way as depending on the job it may have took two minutes or an hour,both would have been acceptable as his expertise would definitely have meant he could have done some tricky jobs he sent in two ticks but your paying for the EXCELLENT service irrespective of the time.I would never mark a locksmith down on a review for his prompt work .A less honest trade person may faff around for half an hour to make it look more complicated ( which it would be if he wasn't an expert in his field!!! The service we received from Fortify Locksmiths was excellent. Andrew came the same morning that I called him. He explained the options for our faulty lock, put in a new one and sorted out an additional problem with another door lock. We would heartily recommend him.

I initially contacted Andy about an issue with my door lock, initial conversation suggested a new lock would be required. However, when Andy inspected the lock it just needed some oil for which he did without charge . Found Andy of Fortify Locksmiths on a Checkatrade leaflet put through the door - glad I'd kept it. Rang him at 11:45 regarding an emergency lock change and was given an acceptable quote. The lock was replaced by 15:00. It was for my elderly father in law and I wasn't at the property, but he kept me updated all the way. He even recommended a different type of lock which was safer and more practical for the elderly, with no extra charge. Completed within 10 mins. As requested, he didn't approach my FIL for payment and sent me the invoice which reflected the amount quoted, and no call out fee. Prompt, reasonable charge.
