I contacted Damax as I wanted an extension to the front of my property. Sam visited promptly and made some suggestions on what would be possible. Mohammmad then visited and carried out a survey and produced drawings. After discusions and several changes to the plans, all of which where carried out with a minimum of fuss several issues were raised that would have a major impact on the build cost. A meeting was arranged between myself and Mohammad, Darren ( the owner )and a structural engineer to try and resolve the issues. It was a frank and honest discusion with many alternatives sugggested, unfortunately resulting in me not being able to continue with the build due to budget constraints. I contacted Damex for a double-storey extension, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Mohammad and Sam promptly visited my property for a consultation and measured survey. They were polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They managed to obtain planning permission in under 4 weeks, which was impressive! They also completed the building regulation drawings in under 2 weeks, just as promised—knowing we were on a tight deadline to move our growing family into our new home. Sam, from Damax, came on board in the summer of 2024 to help us complete architectural designs for planning permission approval we already had agreed. From start to finish, he was professional, offering additional advice and guidance when needed, with no question too big or small. He communicated to a high standard and always followed through on promises made. The whole experience was seamless and has reinstored my faith, having had a dreadful experience with another company. Damax building solutions absolutely brilliant service! From day one too the day of completion of our extension was just a hassle free experience. Workforce turned up early like clock work everyday ( not surprising as I do make a nice cuppa!) Darren is brilliant, from the word go he just sorted everything giving fantastic advice such as type of tiles for the roof, matching the brick to the house, lighting suggestions, and thankfully larger size Velux windows. Half way through the build we decided we wanted to take part of our existing kitchen wall down so it flowed through into the new build and what a perfect result with sunlight beaming right through. Damax completed this in a surprisingly short 7 weeks with NO QUALITY OR DETAIL skipped. Every day was cleared down at the end of the day and organised ready for the next day. Even a couple of weeks after the new build had been finished Damax contacted me to make sure I was happy with everything and mentioned they are just a phone call away if needed.
I most definitely would use Damax again plus confidently recommend them to family and friends.

I am so pleased to have found Darren and his team at Damax, which I discovered on your site, Bark. After having had a bad experience with Planning by Design from London, who didn’t even come out to view my property I couldn’t believe the difference in service I received from Darren. After speaking with Darren initially, he then called the architect Sam, who arrived at the property within 10 minutes and began work! I was impressed with the speed in which he arrived and that I only needed to tell him once what I required, especially as it was a difficult and challenging project. He understood and then created the exact plans as per my specifications. Work then physically began on the property within 2 weeks!

Sam and Darren carried out everything I asked for and were both very kind and understanding. I am happy having them and their professional team working on my property. I would highly recommend them/Damax  to anyone wishing to undertake any building project. More...
