Chris gave a very reasonable quote for re roof on our mid terrace. Job completed on time and we were very happy to recommend.

CS roofing was recommended via a work colleague. We needed 3 velux windows replacing. Work was completed for a reasonable price and within time stated. Would highly recommend.

Had the kitchen extension re roofed, he was quick and did a great job, all left tidy, didn't have a problem.

Chris Started with a decent Quote/Estimate with all the promises
1) A day before to start the work he bumped the cost by £2000, I had no choice Since scaffolding was on.
2) While he completed the Job on time, Long Roof Tiling for detached roof looked wavy & not straight. he pointed on Old Timbers which he was responsible to review and replace (Though Timbers on our cost) which was initially agreed & requested manytimes.. While invested ~15k, I would not think for few hundreds to replace timber, SHAME was not done.
3) Many Wrotten Timbers were not replaced, when asked did a quick fix post job was done.
4) The NEW Tiles above the Door (Concrete Tiles) did not match the Tiles on Roof ( Clay tiles). Initially he mentioned its free or included for the Big Roof project, Then charged Extra for Labour.
5) NEW Gutters fitted by his team were not aligned , Requested a Fix Charged me an EXTRA.
6) HE HAS NOT GIVEN THE 5YR GUARENTEE YET, & COMPLETION CERTIFICATE..its been 2 months already. now asking additional £175 just for certificate.

I WOUDNT RECOMMEND anyone.. DON’T FALL for his PRICE.. you will endup paying double the cost & not with the QUALITY you expect after investing £15k. More...

Response re 1 star review WA145SU From the start when original quote was given, customer continued to ask for changes, hence price increase. The tiles put on the bay, were the tiles quoted for. Guarantee has been cancelled due to other workmen being inside house and removing ceilings and ripping roofing felt, therefore I cannot guarantee this work. CS roofing has been trading for over 25 years. I wouldn't recommend this company he blackmailed me to give a review or you dont get a guarantee the gutters were a boch job I've had someone else to sort them as he would not come back to do them beware??

Really nice fella to work for would work for him again

Wouldn't recommend at all. we had an issue where water was coming through, causing damp onto the walls. the roof was 'fixed' a couple of months later we noticed the problem was still there, causing further damage to newly decorated wallpaper. we have contacted chris and he promised he would visit our house to fix the problem, surprise, surprise no visit and blocked all our numbers! - absolute ridiculous how you can charge someone £4,500 and the problem isn't fixed!! This job was done in jan 2019 full reroof and point side wall .they was having damp problems before we started our job .the problem theyve got is nothing to do with what we have done .and i have been back and exsplained they have rising damp but the lady would not be told .since then they threatend me and my family so now ive had to inform the police and now i will cancel there 5 year guarantee not being threatand when problem is nothing to do with us in fact to see how good we are look at our ratings on rated people hundreds
