Very helpful and professional. Was there every step of the way until the mortgage was in place. I initially enquired in June 2020 but I’d only just come out of furlough. He advised me of my affordability and suggested I waited a few months to get some decent wages behind me as I’m commission based. After a few months i reached out to him as he was the best I’d dealt with and he picked back up where we left off .by this time the offer of £0 charge had expired but Chris agreed I could still pay £0 as I enquired when the offer was there which was a nice surprise for me as all the costs soon add up. We saw Chris recommended on a first time buyers Facebook page and we are so glad that we did! We had been mislead by another broker in the past and lost out on a house so to say we were a little nervous was an understatement.
Chris has been amazing from the start. One of us didn't have the best credit history but with Chris' help, we have a great mortgage rate- much less than we have been expecting. He has dealt with any questions whatever the time of day and really took some of the stress out of the process.

What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is helping people get a result they may not have thought was possible.
Mortgages are rarely just about numbers. They are about helping someone buy their first home, move their family, overcome a difficult credit history, or find a lender that properly understands how they earn their income.
I particularly enjoy the more complex cases, such as self-employed clients, CIS contractors, offshore workers and people with adverse credit, where taking the time to understand the full picture can make a real difference.
There is nothing better than being able to call a client and tell them their mortgage has been approved. That is the part of the job that never gets old.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to build a business around the kind of service I believed clients should receive.
For me, that meant taking more time to understand people properly, being available when clients need help, explaining things in plain English and looking beyond the obvious when a case is more complicated.
I have always enjoyed helping people who do not necessarily fit a standard lending profile, particularly first-time buyers, self-employed clients, CIS contractors, offshore workers and those with adverse credit.
Starting my own business gave me the freedom to create a more personal approach, build long-term relationships with clients and focus on doing the right thing rather than treating people like another application number.
That is still what motivates me today.
