Thanks and gratitude to all those at Caremark who were involved in the wonderful care my husband received over a number of months. The office staff and carers themselves couldn't do enough to look after him, with sympathy and consideration for his intense pain and respect for his needs. A couple of emergencies arose; these were dealt with extremely quickly and efficiently in the office, no fuss. What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people, helping my team grow and helping people in our local community. Doing this while you are delivering a very worthwhile service is extremely rewarding. Although it is sad to see people struggle and deteriorate, at times it can be a fantastic place to work when you see people improve mobility start going out into the community again and generally having a better quality of life it doesn't get much better.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to be fully responsible for the running of a company where I could add something back to society while making a profit. Initially, it provides many difficulties as you have to wear many hats and do several jobs but through time you build your team around you as the business grows and things get better and better, I can't wait until we are a large business delivering great care to hundreds of people. I also believe that I make good decisions and can inspire and motivate my team and that it would be hugely beneficial if I was doing that in my own business rather than someone else's.
Why should our clients choose you?
We try to find the best match between our clients and Care & Support Workers and put huge focus on the training our Care and Support Workers receive to ensure clients get the best possible service. Our Field Care Supervisor doesn't have any calls to do their role is to be in the filed training coaching and supporting our Care & Support workers deliver the best possible service to our clients
Home Care
We look after people in their own homes so that they can live at home for as long as possible rather than going into a care home or other establishment.
We offer, personal care, medication, domestic help, companionship and taking clients out into the community amongst many other services.
Live-in Care
We can provide a carer to live with our client 24 hours a day 7 days per week allowing our clients and their families to feel confident that they are safe at home in an environment that they want to be in.
