The work done was outstanding really pleased brilliant job. Only issue was during the cleaning process the electrical sockets in the building had been hit while cleaning and a few switches had been broken. Resulting in having to get an electrician out to repair the damaged switches. Had to apologise to my neighbours for 4 floors being in complete darkness until the electrician arrived at 7.35pm and said it looks like a stick was used. I left my husband in the care of Lucy for 5 nights, She looked after him well and made sure he took his medication and dealt with his physical needs, She also played scabble with him and they did daily exercises.
She cooked him hot meals every day which he really enjoyed, When I came home he had enjoyed his time with Lucy. I now use the agency C & S nursing and care services to care for my husband.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business because of my passion for supporting people and making a positive difference in their lives. We do not provide care services online or remotely. Our service is delivered face-to-face within the client’s home, as domiciliary care requires direct, personal support to meet the individual needs of each service user.
Our carers attend clients’ homes to provide practical and personal care, which may include assistance with daily living activities, personal care, medication support, companionship, and wellbeing monitoring. This approach ensures that care is delivered safely, compassionately, and in accordance with each client’s individual care plan.
While our care is delivered in person, we maintain communication with clients, families, and professionals through telephone and email where appropriate to ensure effective coordination of care.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have implemented a range of measures to ensure the safety of our clients, staff, and visitors in response to Covid-19. Our approach follows current public health guidance and infection prevention and control best practices.
Firstly, we ensure that all staff receive **training in infection prevention and control**, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hand hygiene, and safe working practices. Staff are provided with appropriate PPE such as gloves, aprons, masks, and hand sanitiser for all care visits where required.
We have also introduced **enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures**. Staff are required to follow strict hand-washing protocols before and after each visit, and frequently touched surfaces are regularly cleaned and disinfected.
To reduce the risk of transmission, staff are instructed **not to attend work if they are unwell or experiencing symptoms**, and they are encouraged to follow public health guidance regarding testing and isolation where applicable.
Risk assessments are carried out for each service user to ensure that care can be delivered safely. Where appropriate, we minimise unnecessary contact and ensure that staff follow safe working practices during care delivery.
