We’ve had Molly cater for the family on 3 separate occasions now, and each time the food and service has been superb. My husband booked a table for 4pm today (mother's day) for 4 people (2 young children) we pre-ordered online. The food took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive. We spoke to the staff on several occasions who were apologetic however couldn't actually do anything. Eventually our children's food was brought out after we asked if they could just prioritise this and then ours arrived after an hour and 20 mins. The table next to us walked out without paying. All the tables around us had people sat for ages with no food, we weren't the only people complaining. We were not offered any discount or any food to keep our little ones happy. We were just given empty platitudes from staff.. "really sorry". We were encouraged to complain by the staff on shift as apparently the kitchen is "nothing to do with the pub". The whole experience was stressful and even though the food (when it eventually arrived) tasted nice; we will absolutely not be returning. More...

I had booked and payed a deposit for By Molly. This was for a hen do to cater for 23 people. I booked in plenty of time and payed a deposit to secure the date. Three weeks before the event I received an email to inform me that my booking was cancelled. There was no reason given as to why the cancellation had to be made and no recommendations or help to find an alternative solution considering it was so close to the event. I also would have appreciated a call to tell me the information with it being such short notice. Following this I asked for a phone call back with someone to discuss and each time I was not available for the phone call but was given an hour to call back in a day then they were leaving the office. Again, not very accommodating. I was very disappointed with the lack of respect for the customer and the general customer service. It was as if it was not a problem that my event was cancelled. I know things happen and cancellations may have to be made if there are circumstances that can’t be foreseen. However, the customer service was unacceptable. I did receive my deposit back but I would not trust the company to provide a service again. More...

From the very start the girls took care of every aspect, coming up with a menu to suit the theme. We went with American street food. On the day of the event they were flawless organising everything behind the scenes keeping the event stress free for me. They brought so many special surprise touches which really made the event. Personalised ice cream tubs and wafers among others. Everything was cleared away afterwards like they hadn’t been there. As for the food, what can I say it was stunning! We have used ByMolly several times and the food is always outstanding no matter if they are catering for 10 people or 100 in this case. I had so many complaints from the guests. We hired byMolly for their private chef evenings and it was by far one of the best meals we have EVER had. The table decorations were beautiful, the menu was so personal, the girls were all so lovely and the food was INCREDIBLE. The team were all so kind and easy to talk to, answering all of our crazy questions and they even got my wife a bottle of wine and a card for her birthday which was such a kind additional touch. Not only did they give us the best food we’ve had in a long time, they made the whole evening perfect and my kitchen has never been cleaner, we would and will be booking them again as soon as we can!
