We’ve had the same live-in main carer for my relative from the start in 2022, which has been much appreciated. We have used Bloomfield for the past year, starting with a couple of 3 hour visits a week whilst Mum still lived in Oxford this was perfect at the time for her. She loved seeing the familiar faces and built a very good bond with the carers.When her house finally sold we moved her down to Dorset to be close to us how lucky for us that Bloomfield had an office literally down the road. We continued with visits in the morning for an hour then I popped in and out to make sure Mum was OK.Sadly we got to the point that she was becoming Anxious and lonely and very panicky.We looked at a care home and realised very quickly that this was definitely not the right thing.I spoke to Sophie about the predicament we were in and she suggested live in care and managed to find a lady very quickly.We are now blessed with a wonderful lady called Sophie, she has become a massive part of the family and is the best thing that could have happened for Mum, she has completely settled, she's loving life and is so happy.Thank you Bloomfield. What do you love most about your job?
I am one of those people that can't turn off, being in care is 24/7 with something always to take care of, I find this suits me. Having started a business that can now support the careers and ambitions of some brilliant people is always going to be a driving force and I love to see how our team meet the challenges everyday in their roles.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A moment of madness I think, It is hugely rewarding to start a business from scratch. It has been an opportunity to meet some fantastically dedicated professionals and as a mixed care provider we get to meet some great clients with amazing stories to tell. It is tough still, to run a smaller business in an area with large national companies, but we feel we can bring the best of both worlds and provide great professional care but with the warmth of a smaller team.
Why should our clients choose you?
It is important for clients to get a good fit, take the time to meet a couple of agencies. We are always willing to pop round to make a cup of tea to talk through with new clients and make sure we are a good fit. We run a great services and constantly communicate with our team of carers, all this is to work towards providing a very relaxed and warm version of care in our clients own home. I am confident that will come across when you meet us.

Our service is not possible remotely. We visit our clients to provide care in their home.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
A lot of guidance came out for Carers during covid, we followed this impeccably. Whilst many of these are phased out, where are clients are still more comfortable with taking procations we will offer to maintain some of these guidance's for their peace of mind.
