I can highly recommend this company from my recent experience with them. I had a need for some mould removal and treatment in a rental property, my tenant is in her 90's and on hearing this David said he would attend the next day and resolve the issue, which he duly did by mid morning. David came out to conduct a damp survey for me today. I found David and the team an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Even though there was no damp proofing work specifically for them to undertake, David spent time explaining how to fix the issue, sharing his knowledge and contacts. I was actually blown away with the kindness, knowledge and service that were provided when there was no paid work on the back of the survey. I cannot fault this company. We used them for a rental property that we had many damp issues with. Dave came out and explained what was needed, what they would do and what else needed doing to help resolve the damp problems. I then received a 15 page report from him. Alison kept me updated and even phoned on the day to say they would be a little bit late.The work was carried out to an excellent standand and everything they said they would do was done. They came recommended by a friend and my neighbour, who had been told her whole house needed a new damp proof course by another company but Dave told her that wasn't necessary as there was only a couple of damp areas that was needed. Incredibly impressed with the service received. Prompt and friendly follow up call to my online query and a visit from Dave soon after. I am doing this review on my friends account as I have already reviewed this company for previous works carried out two months ago. My name is Sophie Newell and Mark and Jack came to do the damp proofing and re flooring of my hallway, kitchen and utility room at my house. On thinking I had damp patches round my house I asked Blackpool Damp Proofing to come and advise / quote me on the work I presumed would be needed. From my initial phone call to David coming to look I am really impressed with their service. The service I received was amazing from the start! Alison was lovely to talk to and so reassuring and talked me through everything and was very understanding. Dave came to my house and talked me through what needed doing and the quote was provided and the work booked in. Luke and Jack were wonderful and you can really tell the pride they both have for the work they do and the service was impeccable and both were friendly, hard working and dedicated. I had my damp proud course replaced pretty much throughout my downstairs last week (and took the opportunity to knock out an old brick fireplace I’ve always hated! ). The guy who surveyed my house was very informative about where treatment was needed and was happy to rip out the brick fireplace, treat with DPC and make good the plaster. The quote contained a clear map of where work was needed and clear instructions of what would happen. I had a particular week in mind for the job to be done (while my daughter was away!) and they booked me in the calendar accordingly. Alison in the office was quick, polite and friendly answering my queries. Mark and Jack who did the work were brilliant - I’m so pleased with the plastering work and how tidy they left my house. David was the guy that originally came to visit me regarding a quote for damp proofing! He spent quite a long time explaining what the job would entail and we were more than happy with the quote. On the day the job started Luke and Jack came on time and eager to get stuck in! We are very happy with all the work the lads did, they were very polite, very helpful and kept us in the loop about what they were doing.
