Really positive experience with Bishop Plumbing. I had a leaking radiator causing the boiler pressure to drop and no hot water as a result. David fixed the leak, bled all the radiators in the house, topped up the water pressure, and took the time to explain how to do it myself in future. At our annual boiler service and inspection I asked if Paul knew a local company that could do air conditioning, he supprised me in that was one of the services he provides. After giving us a quote we went ahead and this was fitted shortly thereafter. The work was carried out within ten days and he was right about the time it would take, even better was the fact that all packaging and rubbish was removed from site and furniture replaced where it had been moved. We only had the main bedroom fitted but we felt the difference that same night, I was able to breathe easier and I slept better for the first time since my cancer operation. Paul has proved once again that local small businesses are really good value for money and should be used wherever possible. We are going to ask Paul for a quote to up rate our shower and bath room taps for easier operation as he has proved to be a really good with price and reliability, also someone we trust. More...

I didn’t even request a quote for boiler or heating! Yet they have tried contacting me 6 times today via email and text and numerous calls the messages started at 06:57 this morning from someone called Paul. People have work and don’t need to be harassed I have blocked this number now I didn’t request a quote for boilers or boiler services one message or email would have been sufficient if I had done but to send multiple and call multiple times is completely unnecessary this is not how business should conduct themselves if anything it screams they are desperate for work, should I ever need a boiler replacement or services I shall certainly not be using this place More...

After a proper diagnostic from a previous technician about a radiator not warming up, I had two options: power flushing (good for the heating system but might not solve the issue) or try to locally unblock the pipes that is stuck. Compare with other companies that wanted to go for the brut force (power flushing) without knowing if it would work, Paul has been honest with me, and stated straight away that a power flushing won't solve the issue and will be a waste of money. He went for the second option, and was able to properly diagnose the issue, and solve it. In addition of being professional, Paul gave me a lot of tips on how I could improve and maintain my heating system properly. Fantastic service all round! Thought my boiler had died, great timing. Late in the week, cold weather settled in. Called in, very professional yet pleasant booking experience. I was expecting a cold long weekend, but a few hours later I received a call and was offered same day visit. My original booking was 4 days away due to availability. Upon arrival, checking revealed that my gas meter had failed. Advice provided and communication between supplier and Bishops, this resulted in the supplier having to replace my meter (no cost to customer). But this means my boiler cannot be actioned until the meter is repaired. Already late on a Friday, Bishops went above and beyond to make sure I was not without heat. A boiler breakdown is usually bad news, and where do you turn, best way forward is to get 3 quotes from different organisations, meet the engineers and go from there. It was apparent that Paul Bishop knew what was required, quoted a reasonable cost, but even better got on with the necessary work very quickly.
