What do you love most about your job?
Deborah Dickson : I am fully involved in the day to day care calls and I love that we offer our clients a service which supports their needs to get to know their carer and have consistency on a daily basis.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business as I wanted to get the Apollo name out into the local community so that the local people could experience the benefits of having Apollo Care assisting and supporting then with their daily needs. It is important to me that our clients receive the care which they want and need rather than the care which the care company feels that they need.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our lcurrent clients are happy with the care and support which we provide. They are happy that we always arrive when we say we are going to and that they always know who is coming through their front door for each visit. The care which we provide is special as we also approach thetasks with dignity and respect and make sure that the client is happy after each visit.

We do have a tecnology package which can be used to monitor a family member who feels they themselves are not ready for care yet. The family would be able to monitor their loved one with the technology package and know how well their loved one was doing that day.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are still following all covid safe practices and are still wearing the PPE, masks, aprons, gloves etc and keep a safe distance when it is needed.
Home Help
We can assist with all aspects of home help, laundry, cleaning, escorting you to appointments or shopping.
Personal Care
We can assist with all aspects of personal care.
Meal Preparation
We can provide support when it is needed with meals and shopping to keep you hydrated and nourished.
Medication assistance
We can provide support with medication whether it be to open a bottle or to remind you to take it, or we can take responsibility if you feel you are no longer able to manage this yourself.
Put to bed
We can assist you to prepare to get ready for bed safely.
Technology Package
If you are not ready for a care package we can assist and provide technology which will give your family the reassurance that they need without a daily visit.
Companion visits
We can visit your home and sit with you and have a chat or we can take you out to places of your choice to assist you to remain active and included in the local community.
